Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,893 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 497 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, an ATR 72, then departed from runway 30 at ESSB Stockholm-Bromma Airport. The takeoff distance was 676 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 117 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of -4°C, with a wind speed of 3 knots from a direction of 270°. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 2 knots. The aircraft began its enroute climb 1 mile northwest of Bromma, Sweden, and ascended from an altitude of 1,088 feet above sea level to 14,525 feet above sea level, an increase of 13,437 feet in 8 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 3 miles west of Bergshamra, Sweden, and lasted for 9 minutes, covering a distance of 37 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 13 miles southwest of EFMA Mariehamn Airport in Mariehamn, Finland. The descent from 14,300 feet above sea level to 1,979 feet above sea level, a decrease of 12,321 feet in 11 minutes, covered a distance of 27 nautical miles.
Following the descent, the aircraft entered another enroute level cruise, this time starting 14 miles northeast of EFMA Mariehamn Airport and lasting for 5 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 21 at EFMA Mariehamn Airport was made from the northeast, with a heading of 203.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,492 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 21 at EFMA Mariehamn Airport, which had a length of 1,893 meters, was successful. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 112 knots. The touchdown point was 73 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 103 knots and a smooth touchdown rate of -146 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -5°C, with a wind speed of 2 knots from a direction of 270°. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 1 knot. The total landing distance was 863 meters, which accounted for 46% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 104 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 42 minutes. The aircraft used 355 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The ATR 72 aircraft successfully landed at EFMA Mariehamn Airport, achieving a high score of 99.8%. The final approach to runway 21 was conducted from the north east, with a heading of 203.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,492 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 103 knots, which was within the target range. The touchdown point was 73 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, but this was still considered acceptable given the circumstances. The touchdown rate was smooth, with a descent rate of -146 feet per minute (fpm), indicating a controlled and stable approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -5°C and a light wind of 2 knots from a direction of 270°. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 1 knot, which did not significantly impact the landing. The runway threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 112 knots.
The total landing distance was 863 meters, which accounted for 46% of the runway length. This was a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled and the pilot executed the landing smoothly. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, with the aircraft maintaining a straight and stable path after touchdown.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and stability throughout the approach and landing phases.
