Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,474 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,133 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a short taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, taking approximately 1 minute and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 27 at the Three Rivers Municipal Dr Haines Airport (KHAI). The takeoff distance was 2,502 feet, which accounted for 63% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 149 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 61°F and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the town of Three Rivers in Michigan. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,850 feet above sea level to 8,508 feet, an increase of 6,658 feet, in just 4 minutes and covering a distance of 14 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then began 5 miles southwest of the Pinelli Airport (67MI) in Marcellus, Michigan, and lasted for 17 minutes, covering a distance of 82 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started overhead the town of Lyons in Illinois, where the aircraft descended from an altitude of 8,048 feet to 2,769 feet, a decrease of 5,279 feet, in 4 minutes and covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then began again 1 mile southwest of Naperville, Illinois, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 27 at the Aurora Municipal Airport (KARR) was made from the east, with a heading of 269.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,241 feet above ground level. The landing was made on the runway, which had a length of 6,474 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 101 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 1,127 feet, and the touchdown speed was 92 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -220 feet per minute.
The total landing distance was 2,398 feet, which accounted for 37% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, and the aircraft was able to taxi to the parking area in just 1 minute, covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 127 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 34 minutes. Notably, the aircraft used 0 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at KARR Aurora Municipal Airport, achieving a score of 99.5%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 269.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,241 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the runway's length of 6,474 feet and its orientation.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 101 knots. The touchdown distance of 1,127 feet was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 92 knots was good. However, the touchdown rate of -220 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, indicating that the pilot could have managed the descent more smoothly.
The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and a slight headwind of 1 knot. The aircraft's landing distance of 2,398 feet was 37% of the runway's length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
The most impressive aspect of the landing was the runway rollout alignment, which was perfect. This indicates that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase, ensuring a smooth and stable transition from the landing phase to the taxi phase. Overall, the Cessna CJ4 Citation's landing at KARR Aurora Municipal Airport was a success, with the pilot demonstrating excellent skills and judgment.
