Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,651 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 580 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 95.4%! Your performance during the Approach Phase was particularly impressive, with excellent glideslope alignment ensuring a smooth transition to the runway.
During the Landing Phase, you demonstrated good control over the threshold height, but there is room for improvement in the landing flare. Paying closer attention to this aspect will help you achieve even greater precision in your landings.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate and speed were right on target, showcasing your skills in handling the aircraft during this critical phase of the landing. However, it's important to note that the touchdown point was slightly beyond the touchdown zone, and the runway touchdown position was off-center by 3.0 meters. Focusing on improving your alignment in this area will contribute to a more precise landing overall.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was described as very good, indicating a strong finish to the landing process. Consistency in maintaining runway alignment will help you refine your overall landing technique and enhance your performance in future landings.
Overall, your landing score demonstrates a high level of proficiency, and by incorporating the feedback provided, you can further enhance your skills and achieve even more precise landings in the future. Keep up the great work!
