Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 300 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
At the 300 ft gate: off the centreline.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,207 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 227 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a short taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, taking approximately 1 minute and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna 208B, then departed from runway 03R at KPRC Prescott International Airport - Ernest A. Love Field. The takeoff distance was 411 meters, which accounted for 19% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 77 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 16°C, with a wind speed of 7 knots at 35°.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 5,521 feet above sea level to 6,107 feet above sea level, an increase of 586 feet in just 1 minute, covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The enroute level cruise then began 1 mile east of the airport and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 3 miles south of the airport, where the aircraft descended from an altitude of 6,165 feet above sea level to 5,218 feet above sea level, a decrease of 946 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 03R was made from the southwest, heading at 41.0°, and the aircraft touched down at an altitude of 173 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 03R was successful, with a touchdown distance of 225 meters, which was 19% of the runway length. The touchdown speed was 60 knots, and the touchdown rate was -170 feet per minute, both of which were considered good. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.0 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 15°C, with a wind speed of 8 knots at 43°.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking approximately 5 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 9 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 16 minutes. The aircraft used 25 kilograms of fuel during the flight. Overall, the flight was considered successful, with good landing and rollout alignment.
The Cessna 208B aircraft successfully landed at KPRC Prescott International Airport - Ernest A. Love Field, achieving a high score of 97.3%. The final approach to runway 03R was conducted from the southwest, with a heading of 41.0° at an altitude of 173 feet above ground level (agl) and a distance of 0 nautical miles from the runway.
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 68 knots. The touchdown distance of 225 meters was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 60 knots was good. Furthermore, the touchdown rate of -170 feet per minute (fpm) was also satisfactory.
However, there was a slight misalignment of the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 4.0 meters off the centerline. This may have been due to factors such as wind or pilot error. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 15°C and a wind speed of 8 knots from a direction of 43°. The crosswind component was negligible, but the headwind component was 8 knots, which may have affected the aircraft's approach and landing.
The total landing distance of 413 meters was 19% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This indicates that the aircraft was able to land smoothly and efficiently. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the landing roll.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was able to touch down safely on the runway. However, the slight misalignment of the touchdown position and the slightly above-target threshold speed may indicate areas for improvement in the pilot's technique.
