Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
At the 500 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,807 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 519 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing Dublin Airport, the Airbus A321 began its journey on runway 10R, taking 12 minutes to taxi from the parking area to the runway's threshold, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. At 8°C and with a gentle headwind of 4 knots, the aircraft lifted off the ground after a takeoff distance of 1,536 meters, which accounted for 59% of the available runway length. The liftoff speed of 148 knots was achieved as the aircraft departed the Irish capital.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute altitude, it began its ascent 1 mile northeast of Ballymun, Ireland, reaching a height of 35,011 feet above sea level in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 116 nautical miles. The climb was a steady one, with the aircraft shedding 33,763 feet in altitude. Following a 49-minute cruise at a level altitude, the aircraft began its descent 1 mile southeast of Verviers, Belgium, reducing its altitude from 34,830 feet to 1,596 feet in just 14 minutes, covering 70 nautical miles. The final approach to Cologne Bonn Airport's runway 13L was initiated from the northwest, with the aircraft touching down 98 meters beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 124 knots.
The landing distance of 1,439 meters, which accounted for 38% of the available runway length, was slightly above the target threshold speed of 135 knots. The touchdown rate of -270 feet per minute was fair, but the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 4.1 meters. Following a 7-minute taxi to the parking area, the aircraft came to rest, having covered a total distance of 563 nautical miles and consumed 4,349 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The final approach to runway 13L at EDDK Cologne Bonn Airport from the north west was executed with a heading of 137.0° at 4 nm and 1,334 ft above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height achieved. However, the threshold speed was well above the target, reaching 135 kt, which may have been a result of the prevailing wind conditions. The wind was blowing at 11 kt from 70°, resulting in a 10 kt crosswind and a 4 kt headwind.
The aircraft touched down 98 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 124 kt, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate of -270 fpm was fair, indicating a relatively smooth touchdown. Unfortunately, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 m from the centreline. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 9 °C and a moderate wind, may have contributed to the slight deviation from the centreline.
The total landing distance of 1,439 m was 38% of the runway length, which is within acceptable limits. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.2 m from the centreline. Despite these minor deviations, the overall landing performance was satisfactory, with a score of 96.4%.
