Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,949 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,949 m of the 2,395 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 369 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A319 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Václav Havel Airport Prague, taking approximately 8 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 24, with a takeoff distance of 1,191 meters, which is 32% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 154 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 12 knots at 229 degrees. The crosswind was 3 knots, while the headwind was 12 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Dobroviz, Czech Republic, where the aircraft climbed from 2,216 feet above sea level to 24,808 feet above sea level, an increase of 22,593 feet in 15 minutes, covering a distance of 75 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered a level cruise, starting 1 mile south east of Schirnding, Germany, and lasted for 4 minutes, covering 28 nautical miles. However, the aircraft soon began another climb, this time from 25,000 feet above sea level to 32,165 feet above sea level, an increase of 7,165 feet in 4 minutes, covering a distance of 22 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting overhead Memmelsdorf, Germany, and lasted for 16 minutes, covering 111 nautical miles.
As the aircraft continued its journey, it began its descent, starting 2 miles west of Battenberg, Germany, and descended from 32,009 feet above sea level to 2,887 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,122 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 59 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 1 mile south east of Herne, Germany, and lasted for 4 minutes, covering 13 nautical miles. However, the aircraft soon began its final descent, starting 1 mile south east of Essen-Mülheim Airport, Germany, and descended from 2,882 feet above sea level to 1,436 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,446 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 5 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 23L at Düsseldorf Airport was made from the north east, heading 233.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,300 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 23L, which has a length of 2,395 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 124 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 371 meters, and the touchdown speed was 118 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was firm at -348 feet per minute.
However, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.8 meters from the centreline, and the runway rollout alignment was misaligned by 15.7 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 9°C temperature and a wind speed of 20 knots at 170 degrees, with a crosswind of 17 knots and a headwind of 9 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,864 meters, which is 78% of the runway length. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 5 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 320 nautical miles, taking 76 minutes, and the aircraft used 2,871 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A319 successfully landed on runway 23L at EDDL Düsseldorf Airport, achieving a score of 91.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 233.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,300 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was executed on a runway with a length of 2,395 meters, and the threshold height was reported as good.
During the final approach, the aircraft's speed was slightly below the target threshold speed, reaching 124 knots. The touchdown distance was satisfactory at 371 meters, and the touchdown speed was also within acceptable limits at 118 knots. However, the touchdown rate was firm at -348 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate a slightly hard landing.
The landing was affected by local weather conditions, with a temperature of 9°C and wind speeds of 20 knots at 170°. The crosswind component was 17 knots, while the headwind component was 9 knots. Despite these conditions, the aircraft maintained control and landed safely on the runway.
However, there were some deviations from the ideal landing performance. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.8 meters from the centerline, and the runway rollout alignment was also misaligned by 15.7 meters from the centerline. These deviations may indicate some issues with the aircraft's navigation or control systems.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there is room for improvement in terms of alignment and touchdown rate. The aircraft's performance was affected by the local weather conditions, but it maintained control and landed safely on the runway.
