MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Departure
Rotate sooner, bringing the nose up at 178 kt rather than letting speed build further.
What happened: You lifted off at 201 kt against a rotation target of 178 kt, rotating late in the ground roll.
Watch for: Watch airspeed and rotate at the target of 178 kt.
See Departure Roll
Arrival
Begin raising the nose sooner, at 11 ft, rather than waiting until 5 ft.
What happened: The flare began late at 5 ft, below the normal band.
Watch for: Radio altimeter approaching 11 ft as the cue to start the flare.

Sim pilots taxi too fast and are certain they do not. Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. Turn speed is limited by lateral load on the tyres and the people in the back, and lateral acceleration goes with the square of speed. On an illustrative 25 m turn radius, 10 kt produces about 0.11 g of side load, while 20 kt produces about 0.43 g. The real technique is slow before the turn, then turn at steady speed, not enter fast and trim the speed with the brakes mid-arc.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,956 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,956 m of the 3,699 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 751 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 777-300 taxied from the parking area to runway 28L at KSFO, a movement that lasted 8 minutes and covered 4 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 28L, the aircraft accelerated over a distance of 2,154 m, representing 64 % of the runway, and lifted off at 201 kt; ambient conditions were 24 °C with a wind of 4 kt from 280°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 4 kt head-wind.
The initial climb began overhead San Bruno, climbing from 968 ft asl to 30,927 ft asl-a gain of 29,959 ft-in 17 minutes while traversing 123 nm.
Level cruise commenced 3 mi north-west of Richvale Airport (07CL) and continued for 95 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 853 nm.
A subsequent climb started 27 mi north-west of Oyen Municipal Airport (CED3), rising from 30,993 ft asl to 32,996 ft asl, an increase of 2,003 ft in 3 minutes and spanning 29 nm.
The next cruise segment began 10 mi south-east of Consort Airport (CFG3) and lasted 187 minutes, with a distance of 1,527 nm logged.
Climbing again 65 mi south-west of Pangnirtung, the aircraft ascended from 33,590 ft asl to 34,917 ft asl, gaining 1,326 ft in 2 minutes while covering 12 nm.
A prolonged cruise followed, originating 55 mi south-west of Pangnirtung, lasting 242 minutes and extending 1,988 nm.
The aircraft then climbed 36 mi north-east of Whitby, increasing altitude from 35,004 ft asl to 36,935 ft asl-a rise of 1,931 ft-in 3 minutes and traveling 27 nm.
Cruise continued 40 mi north-east of Robin Hood’s Bay, persisting for 156 minutes and covering 1,313 nm.
Descent began 3 mi north-west of Skiathos, descending from 37,005 ft asl to 1,563 ft asl, a loss of 35,442 ft in 22 minutes over 118 nm.
The final approach to runway 03R at Athens (LGAV) was executed from the south-west, on a heading of 37.0° at 4 nm and 1,275 ft agl.
Landing on runway 03R, which is 3,697 m long, occurred with a threshold speed of 144 kt; touchdown was recorded 333 m beyond the touchdown zone at 138 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 162 fpm and perfect alignment. Local weather reported 24 °C, wind 1 kt from 360°, a 1 kt cross-wind and a 1 kt head-wind. The total landing distance was 1,872 m, representing 51 % of the runway.
Runway rollout proceeded with perfect alignment, completing the landing phase without deviation.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 6,003 nm, required 740 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 101,132 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 03R at LGAV Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport was conducted from the south-west on a heading of 37.0° at 4 nm and 1,275 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits.
Threshold height was good and the threshold speed was good at 144 kt. The aircraft crossed the runway threshold with a favourable height and speed for the ensuing flare.
Touchdown occurred 333 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 138 kt that was good, a touchdown rate of -162 fpm that was good, and runway touchdown alignment that was perfect.
The total landing distance was 1,872 m, representing 51 % of the 3,697 m runway, and runway rollout alignment was perfect.
To refine the already strong performance reflected by the 95.2 % score, aim to reduce the touchdown point slightly toward the 300 m (1,000 ft) aim point to shorten the landing roll while maintaining the current speed and alignment.
