Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,092 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,248 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Cessna 750 Citation X taxied from the parking area to runway 31 at KMTV Blue Ridge Airport in a duration of 5 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 31, the aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 137 kt and left the ground after traveling 2,607 ft, which represented 43 % of the runway length; ambient temperature was 64 °F with a wind of 2 kt from 269°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component.
The climb commenced approximately 1 mile north-west of KMTV, climbing from 1,864 ft asl to 19,360 ft asl, an altitude gain of 17,496 ft achieved in 7 minutes while covering 35 nm.
Level cruise began about 5 nm south-east of Vinton, Virginia, and was maintained for 37 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 288 nm.
Descent started roughly 7 nm north-west of PA40 Benton Airport, descending from 20,001 ft asl to 2,838 ft asl, a loss of 17,163 ft in 12 minutes and covering 63 nm.
The final approach to runway 34 at KBGM Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field was executed from the south-east on a heading of 328.0°, beginning at 4 nm out and 1,191 ft agl.
Landing on runway 34 was completed with a threshold speed of 114 kt, a touchdown speed of 108 kt, and a touchdown distance of 1,242 ft; the touchdown rate was minus 68 fpm and the touchdown point was offset by 17 ft from the centreline. Local conditions were 59 °F, wind 2 kt from 269°, with a 2 kt cross-wind and 1 kt head-wind. The total landing roll measured 3,009 ft, equivalent to 42 % of the 7,092 ft runway.
Runway rollout alignment was reported as very good.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 392 nm, required 62 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 6,449 lbs of fuel.
The Cessna 750 Citation X approached runway 34 at KBGM Greater Binghamton/Edwin A Link field from the south-east on a heading of 328.0° at 4 nm and 1,191 ft agl. The final approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits, and the local weather was 59 °F with wind 2 kt from 269°, a 2 kt crosswind and a 1 kt headwind.
At threshold the aircraft had good threshold height and a threshold speed slightly below target at 114 kt. The flare progressed to a touchdown distance of 1,242 ft, and the aircraft crossed the threshold at a good speed of 108 kt.
Touchdown occurred with a speed of 108 kt and an excellent vertical rate of minus 68 fpm. The touchdown point was slightly misaligned by 17 ft from the centreline.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 3,009 ft, representing 42 % of the 7,092 ft runway, and runway rollout alignment was very good.
Maintain the current high standards while refining lateral alignment to keep the touchdown point within a tighter centreline envelope, and adjust the approach to achieve the exact target threshold speed for optimal performance.
