Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,729 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,729 m of the 1,986 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 335 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 05 at RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,558 meters, which accounted for 63% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 163 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 5 knots at 80 degrees. The crosswind component was 3 knots, while the headwind component was 4 knots. With these conditions in mind, the aircraft began its enroute climb, starting 2 miles east of RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport. The climb took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 19 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,029 feet above sea level to 13,493 feet above sea level, an increase of 12,463 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 6 miles south east of Yokosuka, Japan. This phase lasted for 7 minutes and covered a distance of 74 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 6 miles south east of RJTQ Miyakejima Airport. The descent took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 53 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 14,718 feet above sea level to 1,287 feet above sea level, a decrease of 13,431 feet.
The final approach to runway 08 at RJTH Hachijojima Airport was made from the south west, with a heading of 70.0 degrees at 3 nautical miles and 993 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 08, which had a length of 1,986 meters. The threshold height at 63 feet above ground level was above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 135 knots. The touchdown distance was also good at 333 meters, but the touchdown speed at 131 knots was a little fast. The touchdown rate was very hard at -539 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centreline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 12 knots at 307 degrees. The crosswind component was 10 knots, while the tailwind component was 6 knots. The total landing distance was 1,642 meters, which accounted for 83% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.1 meters from the centreline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 154 nautical miles and took 39 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 1,997 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at RJTH Hachijojima Airport, achieving an overall score of 87.9%. The final approach to runway 08 was initiated from the southwest, heading 70.0° at a distance of 3 nautical miles and an altitude of 993 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 131 knots, which was slightly above the target speed. However, the touchdown distance of 333 meters was within the acceptable range. The threshold height at 63 feet agl was above the target, indicating that the aircraft was slightly higher than desired when it reached the runway threshold.
The landing was conducted in a local weather condition of 14°C temperature and a wind speed of 12 knots from 307°. This resulted in a crosswind of 10 knots and a tailwind of 6 knots. Despite these conditions, the pilot managed to maintain a good threshold speed of 135 knots.
However, the touchdown rate was very hard at -539 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate that the pilot could have applied a smoother touchdown. Additionally, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centerline, which may have contributed to the hard touchdown.
The total landing distance of 1,642 meters was 83% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot managed to stop the aircraft within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.1 meters from the centerline, which may require further attention from the pilot to improve the landing performance.
Overall, while the landing was successful, there are areas for improvement, particularly in terms of touchdown speed and rate, as well as runway alignment.
