MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,092 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 557 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report

The departure roll was from runway 07 at EDDS, with a takeoff distance of 1,650 m (54% of the runway length). The liftoff speed was 150 kn, with local weather conditions showing a temperature of 24°C, wind at 6 kn at 360° resulting in a crosswind of 6 kn and a headwind of 2 kn.
The enroute climb started 1 mile northwest of Neuhausen auf den Fildern (Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany), climbing from 2,265 ft asl to 35,014 ft asl, covering 113 nm in 21 minutes. The enroute level cruise commenced 1 mile north of Bettlach (Kanton Solothurn, Switzerland) and lasted 63 minutes, covering 468 nm.
The enroute descent began overhead Beriain (Navarra, Spain), descending from 34,989 ft asl to 2,046 ft asl, covering 60 nm in 20 minutes. The landing was on runway 30 at LEBB Bilbao, with a runway length of 2,092 m. The height at threshold was 37 ft agl, with a speed of 138 kn.
The touchdown occurred 559 m from the threshold, with a touchdown speed of 130 kn and a vertical speed indicator reading of -242 ft/min. The local weather in Bilbao showed a temperature of 30°C, wind at 6 kn at 360° resulting in a crosswind of 5 kn and a headwind of 3 kn. The total landing distance was 1,455 m, which was 70% of the runway length.
After landing, the taxiing from the runway to the parking took 7 minutes and covered less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 652 nm, taking 119 minutes, and used 1,440 kg of fuel.
Congratulations on achieving a landing score of 96.3%! Your approach phase was executed with precision, displaying excellent glideslope alignment. The landing phase showcased a good threshold height and a fair landing flare, ensuring a smooth touchdown. Although there was a slight bounce on touchdown, the touchdown rate and speed were on target.
Even with the slight bounce, the touchdown point being 390 m beyond the touchdown zone and the runway touchdown position only 2.5 m from the centerline are impressive. The rollout phase maintained very good runway alignment, further demonstrating your proficiency in handling the aircraft during landing.
Overall, your performance was commendable, with each phase of the landing process showing great skill. Keep up the excellent work and continue to refine your techniques to further improve your scores. With dedication and consistent practice, you will undoubtedly continue to excel in your aircraft landings. Well done!
