MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
At the 500 ft gate: off the centreline.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,556 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,556 m of the 3,742 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 257 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport took 22 minutes, covering a short distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The Embraer E190 then began its departure roll on runway 31R, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 151 knots. The takeoff distance of 1,444 meters accounted for 39% of the runway length, with a local temperature of 26 °C and a headwind of 11 knots contributing to the aircraft's performance.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it transitioned into an enroute climb, increasing its altitude from 1,461 feet above sea level to 2,094 feet in less than 1 minute, covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The climb was initiated overhead the airport, before the aircraft leveled off and entered a 3-minute cruise phase, covering 11 nautical miles. The cruise phase was followed by a final approach to runway 31R, with the aircraft descending from 1 nautical mile and 545 feet above ground level, heading 331.0°.
The landing on runway 31R was executed with good threshold height and threshold speed, with the touchdown speed of 119 knots and touchdown distance of 256 meters also meeting the desired parameters. The touchdown rate was firm at -336 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.2 meters from the centreline. The total landing distance of 1,470 meters accounted for 40% of the runway length, with the runway rollout alignment being very good. The total flight distance was 17 nautical miles, taking 10 minutes, and the aircraft used 504 kilograms of fuel.
The Embraer E190 aircraft successfully executed a final approach to runway 31R at LHBP Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport from the south east, aligning with the runway heading of 331.0° at 1 nm and 545 ft above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height and threshold speed of 123 kt, indicating a well-controlled descent. The aircraft maintained a steady state, allowing for a smooth touchdown.
Upon touchdown, the Embraer E190 demonstrated good characteristics, with a touchdown speed of 119 kt and a firm touchdown rate of -336 fpm. The touchdown distance of 256 m was within acceptable limits, indicating a well-executed flare. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.2 m from the centreline, which may require attention during future approaches. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 25 °C and a headwind of 11 kt, contributed to a relatively straightforward landing.
The Embraer E190 continued to demonstrate good control during the rollout phase, with a very good alignment on the runway. The total landing distance of 1,470 m, accounting for 40% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. Overall, the landing performance of the Embraer E190 scored 98.2%, reflecting a high level of proficiency and control throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
