MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 8,331 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,112 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 96.7%! Your performance during each phase of the landing was impressive.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, and your speed was well above target, setting a strong foundation for a successful landing. Your precision in maintaining the correct flight path and airspeed is commendable.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you demonstrated good control of threshold height and executed a perfect landing flare. Your ability to make precise adjustments during this critical phase shows your professionalism and skill as a pilot.
In the Touchdown Phase, you maintained a smooth touchdown rate, albeit with a slightly higher speed than target. However, your touchdown distance within the touchdown zone indicates your accuracy in judging the landing spot. The fact that the runway touchdown position was only 28 ft from the centerline showcases your precision in landing alignment.
Finally, during the Rollout Phase, you maintained runway alignment within 28 ft of the centerline, further highlighting your consistent performance throughout the landing process.
Overall, your attention to detail, skillful execution, and dedication to maintaining safety and precision are evident in your performance. Keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence in every flight. Your hard work and expertise are truly paying off. Well done!
