Flight Score
Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,394 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 352 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-600 taxied from the parking area to runway 34R at HEGN Hurghada International Airport, covering approximately 1 nm in 4 minutes.
During the departure roll on runway 34R, the aircraft accelerated over a distance of 1,042 m, representing 26 % of the runway, and lifted off at 132 kt. Ambient conditions were 39 °C with a wind of 6 kt from 350°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 6 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced overhead HEGN, rising from 408 ft asl to 40,702 ft asl, an altitude gain of 40,295 ft achieved in 40 minutes while covering 307 nm.
Cruise began 16 miles south-east of OEAO Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaz (Medina Region, Saudi Arabia) and continued for 216 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 1,716 nm at level altitude.
Descent started 20 miles south-west of OPMR Masroor Air Base Karachi (Sindh, Pakistan), descending from 40,882 ft asl to 1,384 ft asl, a loss of 39,498 ft in 12 minutes and covering 66 nm.
The first final approach to runway 25L at OPKC Jinnah International Airport was conducted from the east, on a heading of 255.0°, at 4 nm and 1,286 ft agl.
A go-around was executed on runway 25L at OPKC when the aircraft reached 159 ft agl, aborting the initial approach.
A second final approach to runway 25L at OPKC followed, with a descent from 1,308 ft agl to 61 ft agl completed in 111 seconds, and the aircraft met the stabilisation gates criteria.
Landing on runway 25L, which is 3,394 m long, was achieved with a threshold speed of 120 kt. Touchdown occurred 352 m down the runway at 112 kt, with a vertical speed of minus 219 fpm and very good runway alignment. Local weather reported 31 °C, wind 3 kt from 270°, a 1 kt cross-wind and a 3 kt head-wind. The total landing roll measured 763 m, equivalent to 22 % of the runway, and rollout alignment was very good.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 2,114 nm, lasted 280 minutes, and consumed 11,190 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 737-600 commenced its final approach to runway 25L at OPKC Jinnah International Airport from the east, tracking a heading of 255.0° at 4 nm and 1,286 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits, and the aircraft descended from 1,308 ft agl to 61 ft agl in 111 seconds.
At threshold the aircraft presented a good threshold height and a good threshold speed of 120 kt.
Touchdown occurred 352 m down the runway, with a good touchdown speed of 112 kt and a fair touchdown rate of minus 219 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the total landing distance measured 763 m, representing 22 % of the 3,394 m runway.
Runway rollout alignment was very good throughout the deceleration phase.
To improve the overall score, focus on refining flare timing to achieve a gentler sink rate and reduce the touchdown rate, while maintaining precise speed control to keep touchdown speed within the optimal range.
