MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,936 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,263 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question departed from the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (KSEA) via runway 34R. The departure roll started with a takeoff distance of 3,247 feet, which was 27% of the runway's length. The liftoff speed was achieved at 158 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions consisted of a temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit and winds blowing at 9 knots from an 11-degree direction.
The aircraft then initiated its climb one mile southwest of Riverton, climbing from 1,367 feet above sea level to 42,985 feet above sea level, an increase of 41,617 feet. This climb occurred over 17 minutes, while covering an additional 81 nautical miles. Subsequently, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase 17 miles northeast of Concrete, covering 166 nautical miles in 21 minutes.
As the aircraft approached its Canadian destination, it started its descent from an altitude of 43,319 feet to 5,314 feet above sea level. This descent resulted in a decrease of 38,005 feet over 19 minutes and a distance of 137 nautical miles. The descent path took the aircraft through the CYIN Bleibler Ranch, British Columbia, Canada.
A few miles later, another climb phase started south-southeast of CYXS Prince George Airport. This short climb reached an altitude of 5,901 feet above sea level from 5,324 feet, resulting in an altitude increase of 577 feet over 2 minutes, covering 6 nautical miles. The level cruise that followed, which lasted 2 minutes, covered another 6 nautical miles before the aircraft entered another descent phase, this time from 5,911 feet to 4,126 feet above sea level in 3 minutes and 11 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 15 at CYXS Prince George Airport took the aircraft 4 nautical miles north of the runway from a height of 1,252 feet above ground level, heading 171.0 degrees. The aircraft then touched down on the runway, and landing performance was within acceptable limits. The touchdown speed of 101 knots and touchdown distance of 1,260 feet were in line with target expectations. However, the runway touchdown position deviated by 22 feet from the centerline.
Upon landing, the local weather conditions included a temperature of 52 degrees Fahrenheit and winds blowing at 4 knots from a 265-degree direction. The total landing distance covered 23% of the 10,936-foot runway length. Post-landing, the runway rollout alignment was deemed excellent, and the aircraft taxied to the parking area, covering less than 1 nautical mile and taking approximately 7 minutes.
The aircraft, identified as C750, has successfully landed on runway 15 at CYXS Prince George Airport with a score of 88.5%. The aircraft's final approach was coming from the north at a bearing of 171.0°, located at a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. At an altitude of 1,252 feet above ground level (agl), the aircraft's altitude was above the recommended threshold height of 68 feet agl.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway surface at a speed of 101 knots, which is within the recommended target speed. The touchdown distance of 1,260 feet was recorded as good, indicating a smooth and controlled approach. However, the touchdown rate of -661 feet per minute (fpm) was considered heavy, suggesting that the aircraft may have touched down with a slightly higher impact force than desired.
One notable aspect of the landing was the runway touchdown position, which was slightly misaligned by 22 feet from the runway centerline. Although this discrepancy was significant enough to be noted, it does not seem to have significantly impacted the safety or overall performance of the landing. Local weather conditions were favorable, with a calm temperature of 52°F and a gentle breeze of 4 knots from a direction of 265°.
Despite some minor issues with the landing performance, the aircraft's overall landing distance of 2,465 feet was within a reasonable range, occupying only 23% of the available runway length. The runway rollout alignment, on the other hand, was found to be very good, indicating a high degree of control and stability during the landing process.
