Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,411 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 358 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 13 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300, then departed from runway 27L at Philadelphia International Airport (KPHL). The takeoff distance was 2,757 meters, which accounted for 86% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 206 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and winds of 10 knots at 297 degrees. The crosswind and headwind components were both 7 knots. The enroute climb began overhead the Philadelphia Seaplane Base Essington, where the aircraft ascended from 1,018 feet above sea level to 31,693 feet above sea level, a gain of 30,675 feet in 19 minutes and covering a distance of 130 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 3 miles northwest of Newtown, Connecticut, and lasted for 528 minutes, covering a distance of 4,503 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 4 miles south of Kizilkaya, Turkey, and descended from 32,065 feet above sea level to 1,441 feet above sea level, a decrease of 30,624 feet in 21 minutes and covering a distance of 31 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 36R at Antalya International Airport (LTAI) was made from the south, with a heading of 6.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,255 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 36R, which had a length of 3,411 meters, was successful, with a good threshold height and threshold speed of 150 knots. The touchdown distance was 361 meters, and the touchdown speed was 147 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was firm at -314 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 21 degrees Celsius and winds of 5 knots at 310 degrees, with a crosswind component of 4 knots and a headwind component of 3 knots. The total landing distance was 1,290 meters, which accounted for 38% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 7 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 4,677 nautical miles and lasted for 586 minutes, using 82,349 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft successfully landed at LTAI Antalya International Airport, achieving a high score of 98.4%. The final approach to runway 36R was conducted from the south, with a heading of 6.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,255 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, indicating a precise and controlled descent. The threshold speed of 150 knots was also satisfactory, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed during the landing phase. The touchdown distance of 361 meters was within acceptable limits, further highlighting the pilot's skill and control.
However, the touchdown speed of 147 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate of -314 feet per minute (fpm). Despite this, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 21°C and a gentle wind of 5 knots from a direction of 310°. The crosswind component was minimal at 4 knots, while the headwind component was 3 knots. These conditions contributed to a smooth and controlled landing.
The total landing distance of 1,290 meters was 38% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated excellent skills and control throughout the approach and landing phases.
