Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,400 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 112 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 32 at Rurenabaque Airport, with the TBM 850 aircraft taking off after a distance of 667 meters, which is 45% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 96 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot from a direction of 267 degrees, resulting in a negligible crosswind and headwind.
As the aircraft climbed out of Rurenabaque, it began its enroute climb 2 miles north of the airport, rising from an altitude of 1,694 feet above sea level to 4,629 feet above sea level, an increase of 2,935 feet in just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then started 4 miles southeast of Rurrenabaque, lasting for 7 minutes and covering 27 nautical miles.
The aircraft then began another enroute climb 27 miles west of San Borja, rising from 5,001 feet above sea level to 15,513 feet above sea level, an increase of 10,512 feet in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 85 nautical miles. Following this climb, the aircraft entered another enroute level cruise 57 miles southwest of Pitai Airport, lasting for 9 minutes and covering 79 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent overhead Colomi, descending from 15,992 feet above sea level to 9,183 feet above sea level, a decrease of 6,809 feet in 6 minutes, covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 32 at Jorge Wilsterman International Airport was made from the southeast, with the aircraft heading 309.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 825 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 32 was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 64 knots and a distance of 111 meters, which is 9% of the runway length. The touchdown rate was fair at -204 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot from a direction of 270 degrees, resulting in a negligible crosswind and headwind.
The total landing distance was 317 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing to the parking from the runway took 7 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 220 nautical miles, and the flight used -17 kilograms of fuel.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at SLCB Jorge Wilsterman International Airport, achieving a high score of 98.9%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 309.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 825 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach to the runway was precise, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 68 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft performed well, with a touchdown distance of 111 meters and a touchdown speed of 64 knots. However, the touchdown rate was slightly below average at -204 feet per minute (fpm), which could be considered fair. The runway touchdown position was also slightly misaligned by 5.0 meters from the centerline, which may require some adjustments in the approach or landing technique.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and headwind, making the landing even smoother. The total landing distance was 317 meters, which is only 9% of the runway length of 3,400 meters. This indicates that the aircraft was able to stop quickly and efficiently after touchdown.
One of the notable aspects of this landing was the excellent runway rollout alignment, which was very good. This suggests that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft and align it with the runway centerline during the rollout phase, ensuring a safe and stable landing. Overall, the TBM 850 aircraft performed well during this landing, with a high score and a smooth touchdown.
