Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

Keep the back pressure coming once the flare is established, rather than letting it stop or relax.
What happened: Sink came back after the flare had arrested it at 481 fpm, and the touchdown followed long at 677 m against a 457 m target. Sink returning late in the flare usually carries the touchdown long.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,569 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,569 m of the 2,620 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 677 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320 taxied from the parking area to runway 17 at ENBR Bergen Airport, covering 2 nm in 8 minutes.
During the departure roll on runway 17, the aircraft achieved a takeoff distance of 1,221 m, representing 45 % of the runway, and lifted off at 155 kt. Local weather reported a temperature of 15 °C, wind 16 kt from 149°, a 6 kt cross-wind component and a 15 kt head-wind.
Climb commenced 1 mile south of Flesland, rising from 1,142 ft asl to 35,068 ft asl, an increase of 33,926 ft over 17 minutes while covering 100 nm.
The first level cruise began 68 miles west of Langevag and continued for 51 minutes, during which the aircraft traversed 375 nm.
Descent started 3 miles north of Cairnryan, descending from 36,515 ft asl to 8,081 ft asl, a loss of 28,435 ft in 12 minutes and covering 88 nm.
A second level cruise was initiated 12 miles north-east of Loughshinny, lasting 2 minutes and spanning 7 nm.
The subsequent descent began 16 miles east of Loughshinny, dropping from 7,941 ft asl to 1,468 ft asl, a decrease of 6,474 ft over 8 minutes and covering 25 nm.
Final approach to runway 28L at EIDW Dublin Airport was flown from the east on a heading of 275.0°, intercepting the approach at 4 nm and 1,243 ft agl.
The aircraft landed on runway 28L, which is 2,619 m long; the threshold height of 59 ft agl and threshold speed of 136 kt were slightly above target. Touchdown occurred 259 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 123 kt, with a hard touchdown rate of minus 421 fpm and a lateral deviation of 6.1 m from the centreline. Local conditions were temperature 17 °C, wind 20 kt from 260°, with a 5 kt cross-wind and a 19 kt head-wind.
Total landing roll measured 1,486 m, representing 57 % of the runway, and the rollout alignment was offset by 8.5 m from the centreline.
After landing, the Airbus A320 taxied from the runway to the parking area, covering 1 nm in 4 minutes.
Overall, the flight covered 604 nm in 101 minutes and consumed 3,852 kg of fuel.
The Airbus A320 approached runway 28L at Dublin Airport from the east on a heading of 275.0° while 4 nm out and at 1,243 ft agl, with temperature 17 °C, wind 20 kt from 260°, a 5 kt cross-component and a 19 kt head-wind component.
At threshold the aircraft was at 59 ft agl, which was slightly above the target height, and the indicated speed was 136 kt, also slightly above the target.
Touchdown occurred 259 m beyond the designated touchdown zone; the speed at touchdown was 123 kt and the vertical rate was hard at minus 421 fpm. The wheel-track was slightly off centreline by 6.1 m and the total landing distance was 1,486 m, representing 57 % of the 2,619 m runway.
During rollout the aircraft remained slightly misaligned, drifting 8.5 m from the centreline.
Refine the aim point to land within the touchdown zone and adjust flare timing to reduce the hard vertical rate, which will improve alignment and further optimise runway usage.
