MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 8,192 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,999 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, it sounds like there were some challenges during each phase of the landing process. However, there were also some successes, such as maintaining good heading alignment and a decent touchdown rate.
In the Approach Phase, it's important to work on maintaining a better descent path and staying within the glideslope limit. In the Landing Phase, focusing on improving the threshold height, landing flare, and landing heading will help in achieving a smoother and more stable touchdown. The Touchdown Phase showed potential with a good touchdown rate, but there is room for improvement in maintaining speed and distance control, as well as runway alignment.
Despite the difficulties faced during the landing, handling a 19 kn crosswind is commendable. Going forward, continue to practice and refine your skills in each phase of the landing process to improve overall performance. Remember to stay focused, calm, and maintain control throughout the entire landing sequence. With dedication and perseverance, you will continue to improve and become a more skilled pilot. Keep up the good work!
