Improve the pattern downwind leg
Spacing cues are relative to your eyepoint, so two simmers with different FOV settings following the same wingtip cue fly patterns half a mile different in width, and a wide FOV compresses depth so the runway on base looks further away than it is, biasing you towards a late turn. Pick a camera position and FOV, save it, and never change it, because every judgement you calibrate is calibrated to that picture.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,737 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 49 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Sierra C24R began with a departure roll on runway 30 at EGPK Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,462 ft, which accounted for 16% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 75 kn. The local weather at the time of departure was 60 °F, with a wind speed of 1 kn coming from 270 °, resulting in a crosswind of 1 kn and a headwind of 1 kn.
After takeoff, the pilot made a left hand pattern entry back to runway 30 at EGPK Glasgow Prestwick Airport, covering a distance of less than 1 nm in 129 seconds. This was followed by a left hand pattern crosswind from runway 30, covering a distance of less than 1 nm in 20 seconds. The pilot then proceeded to the pattern downwind turn, covering a distance of 3 nm with an angle to the runway of 14.5°. The downwind leg covered a distance of 2 nm in 70 seconds, followed by the pattern base leg turn, covering 2 nm with an angle to the runway of 179.1°.
The landing took place on runway 12 at EGPK Glasgow Prestwick Airport, which has a runway length of 8,979 ft. The height at threshold was 7 ft above ground level, with a speed of 53 kn at the threshold. The touchdown occurred 151 ft from the threshold, with a touchdown speed of 50 kn and a vertical speed indicator reading of -120 ft/min. The local weather at the time of landing was 60 °F, with a wind speed of 1 kn coming from 270 °, resulting in a crosswind of 1 kn and a tailwind of 1 kn.
The total flight distance covered was 4 nm, taking a total of 278 seconds and using 7 lbs of fuel.
