MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,284 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,284 m of the 2,995 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 608 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the TBM 930 started with a departure roll on runway 15L at ORBI Baghdad International Airport / New Al Muthana Air Base. The takeoff distance was 1,877 ft, which accounted for 14% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 92 kn. The local weather at departure was 65 °F with a wind of 9 kn at 90°, resulting in a crosswind of 8 kn and a headwind of 4 kn.
The enroute climb began 1 mile southeast of Baghdad, climbing from 1,109 ft to 1,237 ft in 1 minute, covering 5 nm. The level cruise started 4 miles southwest of Baghdad and lasted 2 minutes, covering 7 nm. Another climb phase started 3 miles east of Baghdad, ascending from 1,223 ft to 29,700 ft in 14 minutes, covering 36 nm. The subsequent level cruise started 13 miles north of Al Fallujah and lasted 42 minutes, covering 168 nm.
The descent phase began 6 miles south of OSHA Hajin Airport, descending from 29,177 ft to 2,002 ft in 14 minutes, covering 49 nm. The final approach to runway 10 at OSDZ Deir ez-Zor Airport was from the west at a heading of 114.0° at 2 nm and 1,320 ft above ground level.
The landing on runway 10 at OSDZ Deir ez-Zor Airport had a runway length of 9,825 ft. The threshold height at 120 ft above ground level was excessively over target, while the touchdown speed was slightly above target at 92 kn. The touchdown point was 491 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a good touchdown speed of 71 kn and a touchdown rate of -181 ft/m. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 18 ft from the centerline. The local weather at landing was 55 °F with a wind of 15 kn at 226°, resulting in a crosswind of 13 kn and a tailwind of 7 kn. The total landing distance was 7,092 ft, which accounted for 72% of the runway, with a very good runway rollout alignment.
Taxiing from the runway to the parking area took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 270 nm, taking 74 minutes, and the aircraft used 480 lbs of fuel during the flight.
