MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: off the runway's 3° glideslope and off the centreline.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,642 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,642 m of the 3,273 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 660 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 6 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200ER, then departed from runway 19L at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. The takeoff distance was 953 meters, which accounted for 24% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 152 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and winds of 5 knots at 10 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a tailwind of 5 knots. The enroute climb started shortly after takeoff, 1 mile south of Suvarnabhumi Airport, and the aircraft climbed from 1,031 feet above sea level to 9,692 feet in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 11 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 6 miles south of the Bang Bo District in Thailand and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles. However, the aircraft then began another climb, this time from 10,269 feet to 41,431 feet, an increase of 31,162 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 117 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise resumed 77 miles south of Sattahip in Thailand and lasted for 67 minutes, covering a distance of 521 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent, starting 30 miles south of Pekan in Malaysia. The descent from 41,037 feet to 1,828 feet took 22 minutes, covering a distance of 102 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 20R at Singapore Changi Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 189.0 degrees at 2 nautical miles and 1,785 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 20R was successful, with a touchdown speed of 122 knots and a touchdown rate of -410 feet per minute. However, the touchdown point was 246 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.2 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and winds of 8 knots at 340 degrees, with a crosswind of 6 knots and a tailwind of 6 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,563 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.5 meters from the centerline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 5 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 766 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 122 minutes, with a total fuel consumption of 12,886 kilograms.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft successfully landed at Singapore Changi Airport's runway 20R, achieving an overall score of 87.6%. The final approach was initiated from the north, heading 189.0° at 2 nautical miles and 1,785 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft maintained a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 129 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed 246 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 122 knots, which was considered good. However, the touchdown rate was somewhat hard, measuring -410 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 11.2 meters, which may have contributed to the hard touchdown rate.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 26°C and a wind speed of 8 knots from 340°. The crosswind and tailwind components were both 6 knots, indicating a relatively calm environment. Despite these favorable conditions, the aircraft's landing distance was 1,563 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway length. This suggests that the aircraft may have been slightly over-extended during the landing roll.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 10.5 meters. This may have been a result of the initial touchdown position being off-centerline. Overall, while the landing was successful, there were some areas for improvement, particularly in terms of touchdown rate and rollout alignment.
