Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,992 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 446 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport in Zhejiang Sheng, China, served as the departure point for Infinity Airways' flight. Taxiing from the parking area to the runway took approximately 9 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its departure roll on runway 07, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 160 knots. The takeoff distance of 1,154 meters accounted for 32% of the runway length, with a local temperature of 16°C and wind conditions of 2 knots at 269°.
As the aircraft climbed to cruising altitude, it first ascended from 1,423 feet above sea level to 9,567 feet in a mere 2 minutes, covering 10 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise phase that followed lasted 2 minutes and spanned 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then initiated a second climb phase, this time from 9,597 feet to 39,000 feet, an increase of 29,403 feet in 16 minutes, covering 109 nautical miles. The subsequent level cruise phase lasted 38 minutes and covered 296 nautical miles. As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent from 39,426 feet to 6,375 feet in 9 minutes, covering 61 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 03 at RJFE Fukue Airport in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, was executed from the southwest, with a heading of 24.0° at 4 nautical miles and 504 feet above ground level.
The aircraft attempted a go-around at 472 feet above ground level but ultimately landed on runway 03, with a touchdown distance of 446 meters and a touchdown speed of 124 knots. The touchdown rate was -191 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 1,218 meters, accounting for 61% of the runway length. Following a smooth taxiing process, the aircraft arrived at the parking area, having covered a total distance of 521 nautical miles and consuming 2,844 kilograms of fuel in the process, with a total flight time of 87 minutes.
The final approach to runway 03 at RJFE Fukue Airport from the south west was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 24.0° at 4 nm and 504 ft above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 125 kt, well within the acceptable range. As the aircraft descended onto the runway, it touched down at a speed of 124 kt, which was also within the desired parameters, and at a rate of -191 fpm, indicating a smooth and controlled touchdown.
The touchdown characteristics were impressive, with a touchdown distance of 446 m, which was well within the acceptable range. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was centered on the runway and aligned with the centerline. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15 °C and a wind of 3 kt at 270°, contributed to a relatively calm and stable environment, with a crosswind of 2 kt and a tailwind of 1 kt. These conditions allowed for a smooth and controlled rollout.
The rollout phase was equally impressive, with the aircraft maintaining a very good alignment with the centerline of the runway. The total landing distance of 1,218 m, which accounted for 61% of the runway length, was well within the acceptable range. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, resulting in a score of 99.2%. The pilot's skill and experience were evident in the smooth and controlled execution of the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
