MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,716 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,716 m of the 3,951 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 348 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
First of all, congratulations on achieving a landing score of 95.2%! That is an impressive result and clearly indicates solid flying skills.
Let's break down the analysis of different phases of the landing:
Approach Phase: Your glideslope alignment was excellent, which means you were right on target in terms of vertical descent. Additionally, maintaining a speed well above the target indicates good control and readiness for the landing.
Landing Phase: Your threshold height was good, showing that you approached the runway at the right altitude. The landing flare was fair, meaning there is room for improvement in this area to achieve a smoother touchdown.
Touchdown Phase: Although the touchdown rate was heavy and the speed was slightly above target, the touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone was very good. This shows precision and accuracy in your landing technique. The runway touchdown position was also excellent, indicating good judgment and control.
Rollout Phase: The only minor area for improvement here is the runway alignment being 4.5 m from the centerline. This shows a slight drift during the rollout phase, which can be corrected with practice and attention to alignment.
Overall, your performance during the landing was commendable with several key strengths to be proud of. Keep up the good work, continue to practice and refine your skills, and you will surely see even better results in the future. Well done!
