Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,593 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,593 m of the 2,914 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 390 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, congratulations on achieving an impressive aircraft landing score of 98.2%! Your attention to detail and skillful execution during each phase of the landing process is truly commendable.
During the Approach Phase, your excellent glideslope alignment played a crucial role in setting the stage for a successful landing. This shows a high level of precision and control in maintaining the correct trajectory towards the runway.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it's great to see that your threshold height was good and the landing flare was very well executed. These factors contribute significantly to a smooth and safe touchdown, showcasing your proficiency in managing the aircraft during the critical moments before landing.
While the Touchdown Phase did have a few areas of improvement such as a slightly hard touchdown rate and a speed a little above target, the fact that the touchdown distance was within the touchdown zone is a positive sign. Additionally, the runway touchdown position being 3.1 meters off the centerline can be easily addressed with some fine-tuning in future landings.
Lastly, the Rollout Phase displayed very good runway alignment, indicating a strong sense of situational awareness and control as you brought the aircraft to a stop. This level of precision is crucial for ensuring a seamless transition from landing to taxiing.
Overall, your performance during this landing demonstrates a high level of skill and dedication to achieving excellence in aircraft operations. With minor adjustments in areas that need improvement, you are well on your way to achieving even higher scores in future landings. Keep up the great work and continue striving for perfection in every flight!
