Track the centreline
Preparing for a stable approach will give you time to decide on whether to attempt the landing or going around. Too much altitude with a high sink rate will result in carrying too much speed onto the runway. Configuring flaps and the gear late also won't help the speed decay.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: seven checks where the approach path is 300 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply. These checks are the approach's score.
At the 300 ft gate: centreline 3.8° off, against a 1° limit and wings 12° of bank, against a 10° limit.

Side view — the last 828 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 828 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 133 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Kodiak 100 taxied to runway 27 at EGFE Haverfordwest Airport and commenced the departure roll, accelerating along the paved surface for a measured take-off distance of 446 m, which represented 54 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 86 kt. Ambient conditions were 16 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 270°, resulting in a 2 kt head-wind component and zero cross-wind.
During the climb-out the aircraft entered a right-hand pattern from runway 27, covering less than 1 nm in 26 seconds before proceeding to the crosswind leg, which also spanned less than 1 nm and required 27 seconds to complete.
The downwind turn was flown at a 45° offset to the runway, extending 2 nm and achieving an angle of 60.7°. The subsequent downwind leg covered 2 nm in 61 seconds, maintaining the prescribed pattern geometry.
Transitioning to the base leg, the aircraft executed a base-turn of 2 nm with a 45° offset angle of 57.6°. The base leg itself was 1 nm long and was completed in 49 seconds.
A final-turn segment of less than 1 nm was flown in 34 seconds, aligning the aircraft for the final approach to runway 27.
On final approach the aircraft descended from 351 ft AGL to 14 ft AGL over a period of 52 seconds, meeting the stabilisation gate criteria set for the approach.
Touch-down occurred on runway 27, whose total length is 828 m. The threshold speed was slightly below the target at 63 kt, and the aircraft touched down at 60 kt. The touchdown point was 131 m from the runway threshold, with a smooth vertical rate of minus 130 fpm, and a lateral deviation of 3.7 m from the centreline. Weather at the time remained 16 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 269°, providing a 2 kt head-wind and no cross-wind.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 378 m, representing 46 % of the runway, and the aircraft maintained very good alignment throughout the deceleration phase.
In summary, the flight covered 8 nm, lasted 6 minutes, and consumed 11 kg of fuel.
The Kodiak 100 approached runway 27 at EGFE Haverfordwest Airport and, after a descent from 351 ft AGL to 14 ft AGL completed in 52 seconds, was scored on the stabilisation gates.
At threshold the height was good and the threshold speed was slightly below target at 63 kt.
Touchdown occurred 131 m down the runway at a speed of 60 kt, with a smooth vertical rate of minus 130 fpm; the touchdown point was offset 3.7 m from the centreline.
The aircraft rolled out over a total landing distance of 378 m, representing 46 % of the 828 m runway, and the rollout alignment was very good.
Maintain the target threshold speed and refine lateral alignment to keep the touchdown point within a few metres of the centreline for continued high-scoring landings.
