Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,148 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,148 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 389 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 19 at LZPP Piešťany Airport. The aircraft, a TBM 850, accelerated down the runway and lifted off at a speed of 104 knots. The takeoff distance was 421 meters, which accounted for 21% of the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and a gentle wind blowing at 1 knot from a direction of 270 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead LZPP Piešťany Airport. The aircraft ascended from an altitude of 740 feet above sea level to 4,026 feet, a vertical gain of 3,286 feet, in just 4 minutes. During this climb, the aircraft covered a distance of 12 nautical miles. The enroute climb phase was a critical part of the flight, as it allowed the aircraft to reach a safe altitude and establish a stable cruise configuration.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 10 minutes and covered a distance of 33 nautical miles. This phase of the flight was characterized by a steady altitude and a consistent airspeed, allowing the aircraft to conserve fuel and maintain a comfortable flight profile. The cruise phase ended 5 miles south of LZTN Trenčín Airfield, where the aircraft began its descent towards its destination.
The final approach to runway 06 at LZZI Žilina-Dolný Hričov Airport was initiated from the south-west, with the aircraft heading 64.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,459 feet above ground level. The approach was characterized by a gentle descent and a steady airspeed, with the aircraft maintaining a good threshold height. The threshold speed was slightly above the target speed, but the touchdown distance was good, at 387 meters. The touchdown speed was also within acceptable limits, at 67 knots.
The landing was completed on runway 06, which had a length of 1,148 meters. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline, by 3.9 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were similar to those at departure, with a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a gentle wind blowing at 1 knot from a direction of 270 degrees. The tailwind component was 1 knot, which had a minimal impact on the landing.
The total landing distance was 666 meters, which accounted for 58% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was well under control during the landing phase. The total flight distance was 49 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 18 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 157 kilograms of fuel during the flight. Overall, the flight was characterized by a smooth and controlled climb, cruise, and descent, with a good landing performance.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at LZZI Žilina-Dolný Hričov Airport, achieving a high score of 99.3%. The final approach was conducted from the southwest, heading 64.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,459 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft touched down on runway 06, which has a length of 1,148 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 92 knots. However, the touchdown distance of 387 meters was considered good, and the touchdown speed of 67 knots was also within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate of -256 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, indicating a moderate rate of descent.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 3.9 meters, which may have been due to factors such as wind or pilot error. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 1 knot from 270°. There was no significant crosswind or tailwind component.
The total landing distance of 666 meters was 58% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was well under control during the landing roll. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and handling characteristics.
