Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,805 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 307 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at SBMA João Correa da Rocha Airport, a process that took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 07, with a takeoff distance of 1,304 meters, which is 65% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 146 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 33°C temperature and a wind speed of 6 knots at 240°. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the tailwind was 6 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile north of Maraba, Para, Brazil, and the aircraft climbed from 1,296 feet above sea level to 27,799 feet above sea level, an increase of 26,503 feet in 13 minutes, covering a distance of 66 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 3 miles south of SNGQ Fazenda Estrela Dalva Airport Rondon Do Pará, Para, Brazil, and lasted for 9 minutes, covering 13 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 28,206 feet above sea level to 23,846 feet above sea level, a decrease of 4,360 feet in 7 minutes, covering 56 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started again 7 miles west of SBWR Tome Acu Airport Tome Acu, Para, Brazil, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering 18 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 23,839 feet above sea level to 14,621 feet above sea level, a decrease of 9,218 feet in 6 minutes, covering 37 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started once more 10 miles north west of SBUZ Quatros Bocas Airport Tome Acu, Para, Brazil, and lasted for 10 minutes, covering 9 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 14,623 feet above sea level to 1,175 feet above sea level, a decrease of 13,449 feet in 15 minutes, covering 55 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 06 at SBBE Val de Cans/Júlio Cezar Ribeiro International Airport was made from the south west, heading 46.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,127 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 06, which has a length of 2,805 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was well above the target at 151 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 304 meters, and the touchdown speed was 144 knots, which was fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -203 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions were 25°C temperature and a wind speed of 8 knots at 60°. The crosswind was 2 knots, while the headwind was 8 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,143 meters, which is 41% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 261 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 71 minutes. The aircraft used 4,100 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at SBBE Val de Cans/Júlio Cezar Ribeiro International Airport, showcasing a high level of precision and control. The aircraft's final approach to runway 06 from the southwest, heading 46.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,127 feet above ground level (agl), demonstrated a well-executed approach procedure.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 144 knots, which was slightly faster than the target speed. However, the touchdown distance of 304 meters was considered good, indicating that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's descent effectively. The touchdown rate of -203 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, suggesting that the pilot could have made some adjustments to achieve a smoother touchdown.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot maintained the aircraft's alignment with the runway centerline throughout the approach and landing phases. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 25°C and a wind speed of 8 knots at 60°, presented a moderate headwind component of 8 knots. The crosswind component was minimal, at 2 knots, which likely contributed to the smooth touchdown and rollout.
The total landing distance of 1,143 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, indicating that the pilot maintained control and aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with a score of 99.4%, reflecting the pilot's high level of skill and expertise.
