Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,043 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 379 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a quick taxiing process from the parking area to the runway, taking less than a minute and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The Boeing 737-800 then took off from runway 34 at Zakynthos International Airport Dionysios Solomos, with a takeoff distance of 1,087 meters, which was 59% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 152 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 13°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 71°. The crosswind component was 3 knots, while the headwind component was 0 knots. As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it passed overhead Ambelokipoi in the Ionian Islands, Greece, and began its enroute climb. The aircraft climbed from an altitude of 1,031 feet above sea level to 36,247 feet above sea level, an increase of 35,216 feet, in just 20 minutes, covering a distance of 124 nautical miles.
After reaching its cruising altitude, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 21 minutes and covered a distance of 160 nautical miles. This phase started 37 miles southwest of Mathraki in the Ionian Islands, Greece. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started overhead Poggiorsini in Puglia, Italy. The descent from 36,258 feet above sea level to 3,988 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,271 feet, took 20 minutes and covered a distance of 106 nautical miles.
Following the descent, the aircraft entered another level cruise phase, which lasted for 4 minutes and covered a distance of 15 nautical miles. This phase started 1 mile southeast of Barano d'Ischia in Campania, Italy. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 06 at Naples International Airport, flying from the southwest at a heading of 55.0° and at an altitude of 1,460 feet above ground level, 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing on runway 06 at Naples International Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 378 meters, which was good. The touchdown speed was 124 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -255 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 11°C, with a wind speed of 3 knots at 56°. The crosswind component was 0 knots, while the headwind component was 3 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,038 meters, which was 51% of the runway. The taxiing process from the runway to the parking area took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 412 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 76 minutes. The aircraft used 3,283 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at LIRN Naples International Airport, achieving a high score of 99.3%. The final approach to runway 06 was conducted from the southwest, with a heading of 55.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,460 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 131 knots, which was slightly below the target threshold speed. However, the touchdown distance of 378 meters was considered good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 124 knots was also within acceptable limits, further emphasizing the pilot's skill in executing a precise landing.
The touchdown rate of -255 feet per minute was fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more gently. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control and precision during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 11°C and a gentle headwind of 3 knots at 56°. The crosswind was negligible, with a speed of 0 knots. These conditions likely contributed to the smooth and controlled nature of the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,038 meters was 51% of the runway length, indicating that the aircraft was able to stop within a reasonable distance. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control and precision during the rollout phase of the landing.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft touching down smoothly and coming to a stop within a reasonable distance. The high score of 99.3% reflects the pilot's skill and expertise in executing a precise and controlled landing.
