MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: speed below the reference speed.
At the 500 ft gate: speed below the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,619 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,697 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A321 taxied from the parking area
Airbus A321 approached runway 27C at KORD from the east on a heading of 267.0° at 4 nm and 1,130 ft agl. The final approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits, and the weather was 73 °F with wind 0 kt from 360°.
During the threshold and flare phase the aircraft maintained a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 134 kt, both described as good.
Touchdown occurred 351 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 127 kt and a vertical rate of minus 158 fpm, both rated good. The touchdown point was slightly misaligned by 12 ft from the centreline, and the total landing distance was 4,504 ft, representing 42 % of the 10,619-ft runway.
Rollout alignment was reported as very good.
With a final score of 98.6 % the landing was strong; focus on reducing the 12-ft lateral deviation and bringing the touchdown point fully inside the touchdown zone to tighten the aim point consistency. Maintaining the current speed and flare technique will preserve the overall high performance.
