Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,252 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,089 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a FFX P180, then departed from runway 24 at URSS Sochi International Airport. The takeoff distance was 2,606 feet, which accounted for 27% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 112 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 49 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 290 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 2 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, which started overhead Adler in Russia. The climb took 19 minutes and covered a distance of 71 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from an altitude of 1,015 feet above sea level to 34,707 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,692 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 67 miles southwest of Dagomys in Russia. This phase lasted for 39 minutes and covered a distance of 778 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 3 miles southeast of Kipoureio in Greece. The descent took 17 minutes and covered a distance of 72 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from an altitude of 35,164 feet above sea level to 3,131 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,034 feet.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 2 miles northeast of Acharavi in Greece. This phase lasted for only 2 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, which started 1 mile northeast of Nisaki in Greece. The descent took 3 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from an altitude of 3,047 feet above sea level to 308 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,738 feet.
The final approach to runway 16 at LGKR Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport was made from the north, with a heading of 172.0 degrees at an altitude of 289 feet above ground level and a distance of 1 nautical mile from the runway. The landing was successful, with a touchdown speed of 105 knots and a touchdown rate of -72 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 145 degrees.
The total landing distance was 2,527 feet, which accounted for 40% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, and the aircraft was able to taxi to the parking area in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 938 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 93 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 1,922 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The aircraft, FFX P180 03 01, successfully landed at LGKR Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport, achieving a score of 98.7%. The final approach to runway 16 was conducted from the north, with a heading of 172.0° at a distance of 1 nautical mile and an altitude of 289 feet above ground level (agl).
The pilot demonstrated excellent control and precision during the landing, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 118 knots. The touchdown distance of 1,089 feet was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 105 knots was well within the recommended range. The most impressive aspect of the landing was the touchdown rate, which was an excellent -72 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft touched down smoothly and with minimal impact, reducing the risk of damage to the aircraft and the runway.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 55°F and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 145°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 4 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the approach and landing.
The total landing distance of 2,527 feet was 40% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. This suggests that the pilot was able to maintain a high level of control and precision throughout the approach and landing, and that the aircraft was well-handled and responsive to the pilot's inputs.
Finally, the runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout phase and bring it to a stop safely and smoothly. Overall, the landing was a textbook example of a well-executed approach and landing, and the pilot and aircraft should be commended for their excellent performance.
