Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,585 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 294 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cibao International Airport, the Cessna 152 began its takeoff roll on runway 29, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 58 kt in a distance of 356 m, which accounted for 14% of the available runway length. The aircraft lifted off into a calm local weather environment, with a temperature of 15 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt from a direction of 270 °.
As the aircraft entered the left-hand traffic pattern, it maintained a steady pace, completing the downwind turn in a distance of 2 nm and the downwind leg in 111 seconds, covering a distance of 3 nm. The base leg turn was executed at an angle of 56.6 ° to the runway, followed by a base leg of 1 nm in 41 seconds. The final turn was completed in less than 1 nm in 37 seconds, setting the aircraft up for a final approach to runway 29 from the east. The aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 36 kt, with a touchdown distance of 321 m and a touchdown rate of -58 fpm, which was considered excellent.
The flight concluded with a total distance of 12 nm, covering the entire traffic pattern and a short landing roll. The aircraft used 2 kg of fuel during the flight, which was a relatively efficient performance. The landing was considered good, with a slightly misaligned runway touchdown position of 4.0 m from the centreline. The aircraft's performance was consistent with the local weather conditions, which remained calm throughout the flight, with a temperature of 15 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt.
The aircraft touched down on runway 29 at MDST Cibao International Airport with a good threshold height, allowing for a smooth transition into the touchdown phase. The threshold speed was slightly below the target, coming in at 55 kt, but this did not impact the overall quality of the landing. The aircraft maintained a steady descent rate, touching down at a speed of 36 kt, which was within the acceptable range.
The touchdown distance of 321 m was satisfactory, and the touchdown rate of -58 fpm was excellent, indicating a controlled and stable descent. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned, deviating by 4.0 m from the centreline. This minor deviation did not significantly impact the overall performance of the landing. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt, contributed to a stable and predictable approach.
The overall score for this landing was 98.8%, reflecting the high quality of the approach and touchdown phases. The slight deviation from the centreline was the only notable area for improvement. The pilot's ability to maintain a steady descent rate and control the aircraft's speed during the touchdown phase was commendable, and the landing was overall a successful one.
