Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,519 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 289 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Cessna 208B taxied from the parking area to runway 14 at MYNN Lynden Pindling International Airport. The taxi-out required 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nm.
The aircraft began its departure roll on runway 14, using 451 m of runway - 14 % of the available length - and lifted off at 79 kt. Local weather reported a temperature of 15 °C, wind 6 kt from 123°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 6 kt head-wind.
Climb commenced overhead MYNN, with the airplane ascending from 1,021 ft asl to 4,000 ft asl, an increase of 2,979 ft achieved in 4 minutes while covering 9 nm.
Cruise began 8 miles south of MYNN and continued for 85 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 213 nm at level flight.
Descent started 11 miles east of Jatibonico, descending from 3,584 ft asl to 1,575 ft asl - a loss of 2,009 ft - in 6 minutes and covering 6 nm.
Final approach to runway 07 at MUCA Máximo Gómez Airport involved a descent from 1,331 ft agl to 59 ft agl over 216 seconds, and the aircraft scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 07, whose total length is 3,519 m, was executed with a threshold speed of 68 kt. Touchdown occurred at 66 kt, 264 m down the runway, with a firm touchdown rate of minus 385 fpm and perfect runway-centerline alignment.
Runway rollout measured a total distance of 436 m, representing 12 % of the runway, and alignment remained perfect throughout the rollout.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 235 nm, lasted 102 minutes, and consumed 234 kg of fuel.
The Cessna 208B conducted the final approach to runway 07 at MUCA Máximo Gómez Airport and was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. Descent was from 1,331 ft agl to 59 ft agl in 216 seconds under temperature 14 °C, wind 6 kt from 123°, with a 5 kt cross-wind component and a 3 kt head-wind.
At threshold the height was good and the threshold speed was good at 68 kt, indicating the aircraft was correctly configured for flare.
Touchdown occurred 264 m down the runway, a good distance, with a touchdown speed of 66 kt that was a little fast and a firm touchdown rate of minus 385 fpm; runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
Rollout alignment remained perfect, and the aircraft stopped after 436 m, representing 12 % of the 3,519 m runway length.
The 91.4 % score reflects a solid performance; reducing touchdown speed slightly and moderating the rate of descent will further smooth the landing while preserving the excellent alignment already demonstrated.
