Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,402 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 245 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 24 at Memmingen Allgau Airport (EDJA). The Airbus A320 took off with a takeoff distance of 99 meters, which accounted for 4% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 131 knots, and the aircraft climbed steadily into the air.
As the aircraft climbed, it encountered local weather conditions of 16 degrees Celsius and a gentle wind of 1 knot at 270 degrees. The crosswind and headwind were both 1 knot, which presented a relatively calm environment for the flight. The enroute climb started overhead Memmingerberg, a town in Bavaria, Germany, and the aircraft climbed from 3,077 feet above sea level to 4,265 feet, an increase of 1,188 feet in just 2 minutes. This climb covered a distance of 6 nautical miles.
After reaching the desired altitude, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 10 minutes and covered a distance of 10 nautical miles. This phase began 1 mile southwest of Wolfertschwenden, another town in Bavaria, Germany. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 24 at EDJA, coming in from the north east at a heading of 238.0 degrees and at an altitude of 1,292 feet above ground level.
The landing was executed smoothly, with a threshold speed of 124 knots and a touchdown speed of 120 knots, which was slightly faster than desired. The touchdown distance was 244 meters, and the touchdown rate was -280 feet per minute, which was considered fair. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking 11 minutes to cover a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 22 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 19 minutes. The aircraft used 527 kilograms of fuel during the flight. Overall, the flight was executed smoothly, with good weather conditions and a well-executed landing.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at EDJA Memmingen Allgau Airport, achieving a score of 96.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 238.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,292 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft landed safely on runway 24, which has a length of 2,402 meters.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway. The threshold speed of 124 knots was also satisfactory, demonstrating that the pilot had maintained control and was on track to land smoothly. The touchdown distance of 244 meters was within acceptable limits, further indicating a well-executed landing.
However, the touchdown speed of 120 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have resulted in a slightly higher touchdown rate of -280 feet per minute (fpm). Despite this, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, showing that the pilot had maintained control and was aligned with the runway.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 16°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and headwind, making the landing even smoother. The total landing distance of 1,088 meters was 45% of the runway length, which is within acceptable limits.
During the rollout, the aircraft maintained very good alignment with the runway, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, resulting in a high score of 96.8%.
