MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,793 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 580 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Boeing 737-600 began with a 5-minute taxi from the parking area to Runway 34 at RJFK Kagoshima. The takeoff roll covered a distance of 1,127 meters, which was 38% of the total runway length. The liftoff speed was 138 knots, and the local weather at the time indicated a temperature of 25°C with a wind of 3 knots coming from 250°, resulting in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 1 knot.
Once airborne, the enroute climb began 1 mile northwest of Kagoshima, climbing from 1,936 feet above sea level to 41,058 feet in 41 minutes, covering a distance of 279 nautical miles. The subsequent level cruise phase started 48 miles east of RKTL Uljin in South Korea and lasted 148 minutes, covering a distance of 890 nautical miles.
The descent portion of the flight commenced 2 miles southeast of ZBLA Dongshan Hailar in China, descending from 40,923 feet to 5,184 feet in 14 minutes, covering 84 nautical miles. Another brief level cruise segment followed, starting 6 miles south of Abagaytuy in Russia, lasting 3 minutes and covering 11 nautical miles.
Landing was then conducted on Runway 30 at ZBMZ Xijiao, with a runway length of 2,793 meters. The aircraft approached the runway at a height of 50 feet above ground level, with a speed of 128 knots. The touchdown occurred 582 meters from the threshold, at a speed of 117 knots and a vertical speed indicator reading of -167 feet per minute. The local weather at the time of landing was 5°C, with a wind of 7 knots coming from 273°, resulting in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 7 knots. The total landing distance was 1,010 meters, which was 36% of the runway length.
Following the landing, a 1-minute taxi was conducted from the runway to the parking area, covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance for this journey was 1,273 nautical miles, which took 216 minutes to complete and consumed 7,658 kilograms of fuel.
