MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 305 m and 152 m above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,353 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 310 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, taking approximately 3 minutes to cover less than 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 24, with the aircraft lifting off at a speed of 151 knots after covering 40% of the 1,270-meter runway.
As the aircraft climbed out of Amsterdam, it began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northwest of Aalsmeerderbrug in the Netherlands. The climb took 18 minutes to reach an altitude of 10,972 meters, an increase of 10,666.9 meters, and covered a distance of 93 nautical miles. The local weather conditions at the time were characterized by a temperature of 16°C.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting 62 miles northeast of Sea Palling in Norfolk, England. This phase lasted for 22 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 146 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 10 miles northeast of Staithes in North Yorkshire, England, and descended from 10,954 meters to 2,601 meters in 18 minutes, covering 104 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 10 miles southwest of Peebles in the Scottish Borders, Scotland, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering 27 nautical miles. The descent phase that followed began overhead Salsburgh in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, and the aircraft descended from 2,437 meters to 928 meters in 5 minutes, covering 14 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 3 miles north of Queenzieburn in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering 3 nautical miles. The final descent phase began 1 mile north of Lennoxtown in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, and the aircraft descended from 920 meters to 402 meters in 3 minutes, covering 7 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 23 at Glasgow International Airport took place from the northeast, with the aircraft heading 226.0° at 4 nautical miles and 391.5 meters above ground level. The landing took place on a runway length of 2,353 meters, with a good threshold height. The threshold speed was slightly below the target at 127 knots, but the touchdown distance was good at 308 meters, and the touchdown speed was 123 knots, which was also good.
The touchdown rate was smooth at -0.6 meters per second, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 12°C. The total landing distance was 800 meters, which was 34% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking approximately 3 minutes to cover less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 400 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 83 minutes. The aircraft used 2,758 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Glasgow International Airport, achieving a high score of 99.4%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north east, heading 226.0° at an altitude of 391.5 meters above ground level (agl) and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The final approach was executed smoothly, with the aircraft touching down on runway 23, which has a length of 2,353 meters.
The threshold height was good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 127 knots, which may have been due to the aircraft's descent rate or the pilot's decision to slow down before touchdown. Despite this, the touchdown distance was good at 308 meters, and the touchdown speed of 123 knots was also within acceptable limits.
The touchdown rate was smooth at -0.6 meters per second, indicating that the aircraft's descent was controlled and gentle. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the aircraft's flight path or a miscalculation by the pilots.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were mild, with a temperature of 12°C. The total landing distance was 800 meters, which is 34% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and stop within a short distance of the runway threshold.
The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain its alignment with the runway centerline after touchdown and during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was executed smoothly and safely, with the aircraft coming to a stop within a short distance of the runway threshold.
