Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 9,003 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,189 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, the aircraft landing score of 93.4% is a commendable achievement, showcasing the skill and proficiency of the pilot during various phases of the landing process. While there were a few areas where improvement could be made, such as the descent path being above the glideslope limit and speed being slightly above target during the Approach Phase, the pilot managed to navigate these challenges effectively.
During the Landing Phase, although the threshold height was slightly above target, the pilot executed a good landing flare, contributing to a smooth touchdown. The Touchdown Phase saw a perfect touchdown rate, with only a minor deviation in speed above target. The touchdown point being slightly beyond the touchdown zone was a small setback, but the runway touchdown position was very good, indicating precision and control during this critical phase.
In the Rollout Phase, the pilot maintained excellent runway alignment, further showcasing their proficiency in handling the aircraft during the landing process. Overall, the pilot should be commended for their ability to navigate challenging conditions and execute a safe landing with an impressive score of 93.4%. With continued practice and focus on areas for improvement, the pilot has the potential to achieve even higher scores in future landings. Keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence in every flight.
