See Departure Roll
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: six checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,571 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,571 m of the 2,552 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 328 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 26 at EFHA Halli Airport. The aircraft, a C750, accelerated down the runway and lifted off at a speed of 137 kt, covering a distance of 783 m, which was 31% of the runway length. The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 7 °C and a wind speed of 8 kt from a direction of 169 °, resulting in a crosswind of 8 kt and a tailwind of 1 kt.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead EFHA Halli Airport Jämsä. The aircraft ascended from an altitude of 1,483 ft above sea level to 3,633 ft, an increase of 2,150 ft, in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nm. The climb was a smooth and efficient one, with the aircraft reaching its cruising altitude quickly.
After reaching its cruising altitude, the aircraft began its enroute descent, which started 3 miles west of EFHA Halli Airport Jämsä. The descent was from an altitude of 3,639 ft to 932 ft, a decrease of 2,707 ft, in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nm. The descent was also a smooth and controlled one, with the aircraft maintaining a steady rate of descent.
As the aircraft approached the airport, it began its final approach to runway 26, which was located to the east. The aircraft was heading 266.0 ° at an altitude of 452 ft above ground level and a distance of 2 nm from the runway threshold. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7 °C and a wind speed of 6 kt from a direction of 170 °, resulting in a crosswind of 6 kt and a tailwind of 1 kt.
The aircraft landed on runway 26, with a touchdown speed of 123 kt, which was slightly faster than the target speed. The touchdown distance was good, covering a distance of 327 m. However, the touchdown rate was very hard, at -586 fpm, which may have been due to the aircraft's high speed at touchdown. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft aligning well with the centerline of the runway.
After landing, the aircraft rolled out on the runway, covering a total distance of 1,487 m, which was 58% of the runway length. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned, being 12.6 m off the centerline. Despite this, the landing was considered a good one, with the aircraft coming to rest safely on the runway.
The total flight distance was 13 nm, and the flight took 9 minutes to complete. The aircraft used a total of 120 kg of fuel during the flight. Overall, the flight was a smooth and efficient one, with the aircraft performing well in a variety of conditions.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed on runway 26 at EFHA Halli Airport, achieving a score of 90.9%. The final approach was initiated from the east, heading 266.0° at 2 nautical miles and 452 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach to the runway was precise, with a good threshold height and a slightly above-target threshold speed of 129 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's performance was notable, with a touchdown distance of 327 meters, which was considered good. However, the touchdown speed of 123 knots was slightly faster than expected, indicating a potential for a harder landing. The touchdown rate of -586 feet per minute (fpm) was indeed very hard, suggesting that the aircraft may have experienced a significant deceleration upon touchdown.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7°C and a wind speed of 6 knots from 170°. The crosswind component was 6 knots, while the tailwind component was a relatively minor 1 knot.
The total landing distance of 1,487 meters was 58% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the runway length of 2,552 meters. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 12.6 meters from the centerline, indicating a minor deviation from the ideal alignment. Overall, the landing performance of aircraft C750 was satisfactory, with some areas for improvement in terms of touchdown speed and touchdown rate.
