Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,631 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 311 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 18 at SLAL Alcantarí Airport. The aircraft, a TBM 850, accelerated down the runway and lifted off at a speed of 95 kt, covering a distance of 755 m, which was 21% of the runway length. The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 17 °C and a wind speed of 1 kt from 270 °, resulting in a negligible crosswind and headwind.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead SLAL Alcantarí Airport Yamparaez. The climb was steep, with the aircraft ascending from 10,268 ft to 12,742 ft in just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nm. This rapid ascent was achieved in a short period, demonstrating the aircraft's impressive climb capabilities.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nm. This cruise phase was initiated 2 miles north west of SLAL Alcantarí Airport Yamparaez, allowing the aircraft to stabilize at a consistent altitude and airspeed.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, which started 9 miles south of Sucre. The descent was from 12,912 ft to 11,029 ft in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nm. This controlled descent was a critical phase of the flight, requiring precise navigation and control to ensure a safe and smooth landing.
The final approach to runway 05 at SLSU Juana Azurduy De Padilla Airport was initiated from the south west, with the aircraft heading 43.0 ° at a distance of 3 nm from the runway threshold. The aircraft maintained a steady altitude and airspeed, preparing for touchdown.
The landing was executed on runway 05, which had a length of 1,631 m. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was well above the target speed of 79 kt. The touchdown distance was 312 m, which was considered good, and the touchdown speed was 71 kt, although slightly faster than desired. The touchdown rate was firm at -305 fpm, indicating a controlled and stable landing. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and precision.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were similar to those at takeoff, with a temperature of 16 °C and a wind speed of 1 kt from 270 °, resulting in a negligible crosswind and tailwind.
In conclusion, the flight was a successful and controlled operation, with the aircraft performing well in terms of climb, cruise, and descent. The landing was executed smoothly, with a good touchdown distance and a firm touchdown rate. The total flight distance was 21 nm, and the flight duration was 10 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 24 kg.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at SLSU Juana Azurduy De Padilla Airport, achieving a score of 98.7%. The final approach to runway 05 was conducted from the southwest, with a heading of 43.0° at a distance of 3 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,537 feet above ground level.
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, indicating a well-executed approach. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed, coming in at 79 knots. This may have been due to the aircraft's descent rate or the pilot's decision to maintain a higher speed for a smoother touchdown.
The touchdown distance of 312 meters was within acceptable limits, demonstrating the pilot's ability to control the aircraft's descent and maintain a stable approach. However, the touchdown speed of 71 knots was a little fast, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate.
The touchdown rate of -305 feet per minute was firm, indicating a relatively steep descent. This may have been due to the pilot's decision to maintain a higher speed or the aircraft's descent characteristics. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot maintained a stable and controlled approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 16°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind and tailwind components were both minimal, at 1 knot, which reduced the risk of crosswind or tailwind effects on the approach.
Overall, the TBM 850 aircraft demonstrated a high level of proficiency in landing at SLSU Juana Azurduy De Padilla Airport, with a score of 98.7%. The pilot's ability to maintain a stable and controlled approach, despite a slightly fast touchdown speed, was impressive, and the aircraft's performance was well within acceptable limits.
