MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
Pull to 15 degrees at one rate and you get a clean liftoff, pull to the same 15 degrees at twice the rate and you get an overshoot, a push, and an oscillation through the first few hundred feet. The type-general rule of thumb is a rotation rate of about 2 to 3 degrees per second, which means roughly five to seven seconds from starting the pull to reaching the initial climb attitude of around 15 degrees nose-up. Count it out loud during your next takeoff and you will almost certainly discover you have been rotating in two seconds flat.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,855 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 368 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 17 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 18 at KTLH Tallahassee Regional Airport. The takeoff distance was 597 meters, which accounted for 28% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 133 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16°C, a wind speed of 4 knots from 180°, with no crosswind and a headwind of 4 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead KTLH Tallahassee Regional Airport. The climb took 21 minutes and covered a distance of 128 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,076 feet above sea level to 45,558 feet above sea level, an increase of 44,482 feet. The enroute level cruise then began 3 miles south of Hawthorne, Florida, and lasted for 34 minutes, covering a distance of 171 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 61 miles east of Orchid, Florida, and took 21 minutes to descend from 45,646 feet above sea level to 2,375 feet above sea level, a decrease of 43,271 feet. The descent covered a distance of 137 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, this time starting 10 miles southeast of MYAT Treasure Cay Airport in the Bahamas, and lasted for 4 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 09 at MYAM Leonard M Thompson International Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 89.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,254 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 09, which had a length of 1,855 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 102 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 369 meters, and the touchdown speed was 90 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was excellent at -79 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.6 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 21°C, a wind speed of 6 knots from 332°, with a crosswind of 5 knots and a tailwind of 2 knots. The total landing distance was 917 meters, which accounted for 49% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took just 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 453 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 80 minutes. The aircraft used 697 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at MYAM Leonard M Thompson International Airport, achieving a score of 99.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 89.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,254 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft touched down on runway 09, which has a length of 1,855 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 102 knots. The touchdown distance of 369 meters was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 90 knots was also good. The most impressive aspect of the landing was the touchdown rate, which was an excellent -79 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft touched down smoothly and with minimal deceleration.
However, there was a slight deviation in the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 3.6 meters off-centerline. This may be attributed to the crosswind, which was 5 knots, and the tailwind, which was 2 knots. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 21°C and a wind speed of 6 knots at 332°.
The total landing distance of 917 meters was 49% of the runway length, which is a reasonable figure. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, and the pilot's skills were evident throughout the maneuver.
