MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,401 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 443 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Honda HA420 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at LOWK Klagenfurt Airport, a process that took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 10L, with a takeoff distance of 677 meters, which accounted for 27% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 118 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 9°C, with a wind speed of 6 knots at a direction of 70°. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 5 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 2 miles southwest of Poggersdorf in Kaernten, Austria. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 2,367 feet above sea level to 41,836 feet above sea level, an increase of 39,468 feet, in 19 minutes and covering a distance of 88 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, starting 3 miles west of Innervillgraten in Tirol, Austria. This phase of the flight lasted for 106 minutes and covered a distance of 510 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting overhead Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier in Pays de la Loire, France. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 41,978 feet above sea level to 2,010 feet above sea level, a decrease of 39,968 feet, in 22 minutes and covering a distance of 107 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting overhead Saint-Andre-des-Eaux in Pays de la Loire, France. This phase of the flight lasted for only 3 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, starting overhead Pornichet in Pays de la Loire, France. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,985 feet above sea level to 1,183 feet above sea level, a decrease of 802 feet, in 2 minutes and covering a distance of 3 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at LFRZ Saint-Nazaire-Montoir Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 71.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,165 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 07, which had a length of 2,401 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 97 knots.
The touchdown point was 52 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 88 knots and a touchdown rate of -179 feet per minute, both of which were good. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 6°C, with a wind speed of 7 knots at a direction of 50°. This resulted in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 7 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,130 meters, which accounted for 47% of the runway. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 719 nautical miles, and the flight lasted for 139 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 780 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Honda HA420 aircraft successfully landed at LFRZ Saint-Nazaire-Montoir Airport, achieving a score of 99.1%. The final approach to runway 07 was conducted from the west, with a heading of 71.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,165 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft demonstrated good control and precision during the approach, ultimately landing safely on the runway.
The landing was characterized by a slightly below-target threshold speed of 97 knots, which was still within acceptable limits. The touchdown point was located 52 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. However, the touchdown speed of 88 knots was considered good, and the touchdown rate of -179 feet per minute (fpm) was also within acceptable limits.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 6°C and a wind speed of 7 knots from a direction of 50°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 knots, while the headwind component was 7 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the approach and landing.
The total landing distance of 1,130 meters was 47% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, with the aircraft maintaining a straight and stable path after touchdown. Overall, the landing was considered a success, with the aircraft demonstrating good control and precision throughout the approach and landing phases.
