Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,592 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 279 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, taking approximately 8 minutes to cover a distance of 3 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 28R, with the aircraft lifting off after a takeoff distance of 1,942 meters, which was 49% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 161 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time were a temperature of 6°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 280°.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it started its enroute climb overhead Bensenville, Illinois, and continued to ascend to a height of 34,294 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,620 feet from its initial altitude of 1,674 feet. This climb took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 127 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then began 2 miles southwest of Lincoln, Illinois, and lasted for 24 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 651 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it started its enroute descent 4 miles southeast of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas, and descended from a height of 34,228 feet to 2,085 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,143 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 123 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 13R at San Antonio International Airport was made from the northwest, with the aircraft heading 132.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,267 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 13R was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 134 knots, which was slightly faster than the recommended threshold speed. The touchdown distance was 282 meters, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.3 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 22°C, with a wind speed of 3 knots from a direction of 210°.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking approximately 1 minute to cover a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 910 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 62 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 5,324 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at San Antonio International Airport (KSAT) on runway 13R, achieving a high score of 97.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the northwest, heading 132.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,267 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was within the acceptable range at 137 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 134 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have contributed to a firm touchdown rate of -310 feet per minute (fpm). Despite this, the touchdown distance of 282 meters was considered good.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.3 meters, which may have been due to factors such as wind or pilot error. However, the local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 22°C and a light wind of 3 knots at 210°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 knots, while the headwind component was 1 knot.
The total landing distance of 1,419 meters was 55% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This indicates that the pilot was able to bring the aircraft to a stop quickly and efficiently. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the landing roll.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and decision-making skills. However, there were some minor issues with the touchdown speed and runway alignment, which may be addressed in future training or operations.
