Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,705 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,705 m of the 3,595 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 472 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 4 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300, then departed from runway 11L at OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, Iran. The takeoff distance was 975 meters, which was 23% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 157 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 12°C and a wind speed of 3 knots at 120°. The crosswind was 1 knot, and the headwind was 3 knots. After departing from Imam Khomeini International Airport, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport and reached an altitude of 39,103 feet above sea level. The climb was from 4,278 feet to 39,103 feet, an increase of 34,825 feet, in 15 minutes and covering a distance of 80 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 7 miles northeast of Delijan, Iran, and lasted for 60 minutes, covering a distance of 475 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 18 miles southeast of OIBV Lavan Airport in Iran. The descent was from 39,020 feet to 8,020 feet, a decrease of 31,000 feet, in 16 minutes and covering a distance of 102 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, which started 18 miles north of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 9 miles northwest of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and the descent was from 7,795 feet to 1,248 feet, a decrease of 6,546 feet, in 7 minutes and covering a distance of 17 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 30L at OMDB Dubai International Airport was from the southeast, heading 301.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,208 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 30L was successful, with a touchdown point 51 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 131 knots, and the touchdown rate was -192 feet per minute, both of which were good. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.4 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 23°C and a wind speed of 4 knots at 16°. The crosswind was 4 knots, and the headwind was 1 knot. The total landing distance was 1,618 meters, which was 45% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 695 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 113 minutes. The aircraft used 12,753 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft successfully landed at Dubai International Airport (OMDB) on runway 30L, achieving a high score of 97.4%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 301.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,208 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 136 knots. The touchdown point was located 51 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 131 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -192 feet per minute (fpm) was also good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 23°C and a gentle wind of 4 knots at 16°. The crosswind component was minimal at 4 knots, and the headwind component was even weaker at 1 knot. These conditions contributed to a smooth and stable landing.
The total landing distance of 1,618 meters was 45% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was excellent, indicating that the aircraft's brakes were applied smoothly and effectively, and the pilot maintained good control throughout the landing process.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft's performance was satisfactory. The minor deviations in touchdown point and runway alignment were not significant enough to impact the overall score.
