Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,000 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 425 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 36 at LIMF Turin Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,609 meters, which accounted for 72% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 156 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 5°C temperature and a wind speed of 2 knots at 210 degrees. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the tailwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started overhead San Maurizio, Italy, and the aircraft ascended from 2,017 feet above sea level to 33,728 feet, an increase of 31,711 feet in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 123 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 3 miles south east of Fivizzano, Italy, and lasted for 39 minutes, covering a distance of 311 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its descent from 34,567 feet above sea level to 10,994 feet, a decrease of 23,573 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 106 nautical miles. This descent started 20 miles south west of San Marco, Italy.
The enroute level cruise resumed 13 miles north of Villafranca Tirrena, Sicily, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 10 nautical miles. However, the descent started again 4 miles north west of Faro Superiore, Sicily, and the aircraft descended from 11,017 feet above sea level to 731 feet, a decrease of 10,286 feet in 8 minutes, covering a distance of 15 nautical miles.
The enroute climb began 1 mile south west of Reggio Calabria, Italy, and the aircraft ascended from 716 feet above sea level to 4,218 feet, an increase of 3,502 feet in 4 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 7 miles west of Melito di Porto Salvo, Calabria, and lasted for 13 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The enroute climb started again 12 miles south west of Melito di Porto Salvo, and the aircraft ascended from 4,501 feet above sea level to 20,049 feet, an increase of 15,547 feet in 7 minutes, covering a distance of 31 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise resumed 1 mile north west of Randazzo, Sicily, and lasted for 13 minutes, covering a distance of 73 nautical miles.
The final descent started 8 miles north east of Palermo, Sicily, and the aircraft descended from 19,893 feet above sea level to 1,286 feet, a decrease of 18,607 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 25 at LICJ Falcone-Borsellino Airport from the north east, heading 249.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,240 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 25 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 425 meters and a touchdown speed of 127 knots. The touchdown rate was -155 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 13°C temperature and a wind speed of 16 knots at 350 degrees, with a crosswind of 16 knots and a tailwind of 4 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,209 meters, which accounted for 40% of the runway. The runway
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at Falcone–Borsellino Airport, with a score of 99.5%. The final approach to runway 25 was initiated from the north east, with a heading of 249.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,240 feet above ground level.
The aircraft's approach and landing performance were impressive, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 137 knots. The touchdown distance of 425 meters was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 127 knots was well-controlled. The touchdown rate of -155 feet per minute was also satisfactory, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were moderate, with a temperature of 13°C and a wind speed of 16 knots from a direction of 350°. This resulted in a crosswind component of 16 knots and a tailwind component of 4 knots. Despite these challenging conditions, the aircraft's pilot successfully managed the crosswind and maintained a perfect runway touchdown alignment.
The total landing distance of 1,209 meters was 40% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. This indicates that the pilot had excellent control over the aircraft's descent and touchdown, and was able to bring the plane to a stop quickly and safely.
The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft's direction and speed during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was a success, with the aircraft coming to a stop safely and efficiently.
