Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,699 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,699 m of the 2,560 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 971 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, congratulations on achieving a aircraft landing score of 86.7%! Your approach phase was particularly strong with excellent glideslope alignment and only a slightly above target speed. This shows a great sense of control and precision during this critical phase of the landing process.
Moving onto the landing phase, while your threshold height was good, there was room for improvement in the landing flare. A smoother landing flare would have helped in achieving a softer touchdown. Despite this, your touchdown rate was a bit hard and the touchdown point was slightly beyond the designated zone, with the runway touchdown position slightly off-center. However, considering you landed with an 11 knot crosswind, your ability to handle this challenging condition is commendable.
As you transitioned into the rollout phase, the runway alignment was a bit off, with the aircraft positioning 8.2 m from the centerline. This could be an area to focus on for future landings to ensure a more precise alignment with the runway.
Overall, your performance in this landing was quite commendable, with strong points in the approach phase and handling of crosswind conditions. With some adjustments in the landing flare and runway alignment, you have the potential to further improve your landing scores and overall proficiency as a pilot. Keep up the great work and continue to strive for excellence in your landings. Well done!
