Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,237 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 281 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Fantastic job on the aircraft landing, scoring an impressive 99.9%! Let's break down your performance in each phase of the landing.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, showing your skill in maintaining the correct descent path. Although your speed was slightly below target, this minor deviation did not impact the overall quality of your approach.
Moving onto the Landing Phase, your threshold height was good, ensuring a safe and precise touchdown. You executed a perfect landing flare, showcasing your mastery in controlling the aircraft during the critical moments before touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was smooth, indicating a seamless transition from descent to touchdown. Your speed was right on target, further demonstrating your ability to accurately control the aircraft throughout the landing process. Additionally, your touchdown distance was well within the touchdown zone, and your runway touchdown position was very good, reflecting your precision and consistency in landing procedures.
Finally, the Rollout Phase saw excellent runway alignment, showing your ability to maintain control of the aircraft even after touchdown. This attention to detail and precision in maintaining alignment contributes to a safe and smooth deceleration on the runway.
Overall, your exceptional performance in each phase of the landing resulted in an outstanding score of 99.9%.
