Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,712 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 545 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, a Cessna Longitude, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Jack Northrop Field Hawthorne Municipal Airport, which is located at KHHR. This process took approximately 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 25, with a takeoff distance of 736 meters, which accounted for 69% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 133 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 13 knots at a direction of 260 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, while the headwind was 13 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Del Aire, California, and the aircraft ascended from 1,148 feet above sea level to 13,019 feet above sea level, an increase of 11,871 feet in 6 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles.
The enroute descent began overhead Los Alamitos Army Air Field, also known as KSLI, and the aircraft descended from 13,021 feet above sea level to 2,290 feet above sea level, a decrease of 10,731 feet in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 15 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started overhead South San Jose Hills and lasted for 5 minutes, covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. Another enroute descent began overhead Florence-Graham, and the aircraft descended from 2,111 feet above sea level to 1,392 feet above sea level, a decrease of 719 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 4 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 24R at Los Angeles International Airport, which is located at KLAX, was made from the east, with a heading of 263.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,258 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 24R, which has a length of 2,712 meters. The threshold height was above the target, and the threshold speed was too high at 133 knots.
The touchdown point was 117 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 111 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was smooth at -116 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.5 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions during the landing were a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 11 knots at a direction of 260 degrees, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 11 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,229 meters, which accounted for 45% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The aircraft then taxiied to the parking area from the runway, which took approximately 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 59 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 28 minutes. The aircraft used 448 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Longitude successfully landed on runway 24R at KLAX Los Angeles International Airport, achieving a score of 95.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 263.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,258 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was conducted on a runway with a length of 2,712 meters.
Upon reaching the threshold, the aircraft was found to be above the target height at 62 feet agl, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal approach path. Additionally, the threshold speed was recorded at 133 knots, which was higher than the target speed. Despite these minor deviations, the touchdown point was located 117 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor discrepancy.
The touchdown speed of 111 knots was slightly faster than the target speed, but the touchdown rate was smooth at -116 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft touched down with a controlled descent, minimizing the impact on the landing gear and the runway surface. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.5 meters from the centerline, which may require adjustments to the approach path or the aircraft's alignment during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 17°C and a wind speed of 11 knots from 260°. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 11 knots, which may have contributed to the slight deviations from the target approach path.
The total landing distance was 1,229 meters, which accounts for 45% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop within a reasonable distance. The runway rollout alignment was found to be very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain its alignment and direction during the rollout phase of the landing.
Overall, the Cessna Longitude's landing on runway 24R at KLAX Los Angeles International Airport was successful, with a score of 95.7%. While there were some minor deviations from the target approach path, the aircraft was able to touch down safely and come to a stop within a reasonable distance.
