MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,723 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,723 m of the 3,806 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 774 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight, conducted by a Citation CJ3+ with the tail number N60US, began with a taxiing phase from the parking area to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered 2 nautical miles (nm).
As it departed from runway 16 at Jorge Chavez International Airport (SPJC) in Lima, Peru, the takeoff distance was 493 meters, which accounted for 17% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 123 knots and was affected by a relatively calm local weather condition, with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and wind speeds of 5 knots at 200 degrees.
Once airborne, the enroute climb phase began, starting from an altitude of 1,107 feet above sea level (asl) to 46,220 ft asl, covering a difference of 45,113 feet in 13 minutes and spanning 78 nm. This was followed by a level cruise phase that lasted 33 minutes and covered an impressive distance of 851 nm, as the aircraft flew southwest of Oyon, Lima.
As it continued enroute, the aircraft began its descent phase from 46,258 ft asl to 10,707 ft asl, decreasing by 35,551 feet in 21 minutes and covering 103 nm. The descent phase took place 2 miles west of Colombia. The aircraft then climbed from 10,707 ft to 11,992 ft asl in just 2 minutes, increasing by 1,284 feet and covering 7 nm. Following this, there was another brief level cruise phase that lasted 2 minutes and covered 7 nm, as the aircraft flew southeast of Villeta, Colombia.
The final descent phase took place from 11,995 ft asl to 9,618 ft asl, decreasing by 2,377 feet in 3 minutes and covering 10 nm, as the aircraft flew north of Facatativa, Colombia. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 14R at El Dorado International Airport (SKBO) in Colombia, flying from the northwest and heading at 127.0° at an altitude of 1,249 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on runway 14R, which had a length of 3,806 meters, at a speed of 86 knots. The touchdown point was 345 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown rate was excellent at -73 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown alignment was also reported to be very good. During the final approach, the aircraft was affected by a relatively calm local weather condition, with a temperature of 16°C and wind speeds of 9 knots at 90°.
The total landing distance covered 1,629 meters, accounting for 43% of the runway length. Following the landing, the runway rollout alignment was also reported to be very good.
The taxiing phase from the runway to the parking area took less than 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 1,064 nm, covering a total flight time of 80 minutes and exhausting 1,447 kilograms of fuel throughout the journey.
Aircraft Citation CJ3+ N60US successfully landed at El Dorado International Airport, SKBO with an impressive score of 88.9%. The approach was made from a northwest heading of 127.0°, at 4 nautical miles (nm) from the runway and 1,249 feet above ground level (agl).
The pilot navigated the aircraft to a landing on runway 14R, which has a length of 3,806 meters (mt). However, at a height of only 66 feet agl at the threshold, the aircraft was above the target height, suggesting a slight adjustment was necessary to ensure a smooth touchdown. The aircraft's speed was also slightly below target at 99 knots (kt) during the approach, but the touchdown speed of 86 kt was satisfactory.
The touchdown point was located 345 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown rate was excellent at -73 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft was able to land smoothly and maintain control. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, which further suggests the pilot's skill and attention to detail. Local weather conditions, with a temperature of 16°C and winds of 9 kt at 90°, posed moderate headwinds of 7 kt and a negligible 6 kt crosswind effect.
The total landing distance of 1,629 meters, which is equivalent to 43% of the runway, can be considered acceptable. The rollout alignment after landing was also very good, which underscores the pilot's ability to control the aircraft effectively. Overall, the successful landing of Citation CJ3+ N60US at El Dorado International Airport showcases the pilot's professional skill and attention to detail during the approach and landing phases of flight.
