Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,831 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 634 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Philadelphia International Airport, taking approximately 8 minutes and covering a distance of 4 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 27R, with a takeoff distance of 851 meters, which accounted for 29% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 97 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it encountered local weather conditions of 16°C temperature and a wind speed of 2 knots at 270°. The crosswind was 1 knot, and the headwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started overhead the Philadelphia Seaplane Base, where the aircraft ascended from 606 feet above sea level to 12,247 feet above sea level, an increase of 11,642 feet in 7 minutes, covering a distance of 19 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 1 mile south of Delanco, New Jersey, and lasted for 5 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent overhead Roosevelt, New Jersey, descending from 12,273 feet above sea level to 2,452 feet above sea level, a decrease of 9,821 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed overhead Dayton, New Jersey, and lasted for 14 minutes, covering a distance of 31 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 06 at Teterboro Airport was made from the southwest, heading 48.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,266 feet above ground level.
The landing took place on runway 06 at Teterboro Airport, which had a length of 1,831 meters. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was excessively high at 98 knots. The touchdown point was 201 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 81 knots, which was fast. However, the touchdown rate was excellent at -73 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at Teterboro Airport were 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 16 knots at 300°. The crosswind was 15 knots, and the tailwind was 5 knots. The total landing distance was 876 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 94 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 41 minutes. The aircraft used 131 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed at KTEB Teterboro Airport, achieving a score of 92.7%. The final approach to runway 06 was initiated from the southwest, heading 48.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,266 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 201 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a significant deviation from the intended landing spot. The touchdown speed of 81 knots was also higher than the recommended speed, indicating that the pilot may have been unable to fully arrest the aircraft's descent before touching down. However, the touchdown rate of -73 feet per minute was excellent, suggesting that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the landing.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the crosswind conditions. The local weather conditions at the time of landing included a temperature of 8°C, a wind speed of 16 knots from 300°, resulting in a crosswind of 15 knots and a tailwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance of 876 meters was 48% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout phase.
Overall, while the landing was not perfect, the pilot demonstrated good control and handling of the aircraft, particularly during the rollout phase. However, there are areas for improvement, such as reducing the touchdown speed and improving the alignment of the aircraft during the landing.
