MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,553 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,553 m of the 2,741 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 184 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 98.1%! Your performance throughout the different phases of the landing process was impressive.
During the Approach Phase, you displayed excellent glideslope alignment. This ensured a smooth transition towards the runway, setting a strong foundation for the rest of the landing. Your precision in maintaining the proper glideslope shows your skill and focus as a pilot.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you successfully managed the threshold height and executed a very good landing flare. This indicates your ability to judge altitude effectively and control the descent of the aircraft with skill and finesse. Your touchdown rate was hard, but still within acceptable limits, and your speed was right on target, contributing to a safe and controlled landing.
In the Touchdown Phase, you landed within the touchdown zone and just 2.6 meters from the centreline, showcasing your accuracy and proficiency in landing the aircraft in the desired area. Despite a 16-knot crosswind, you managed to handle the challenging conditions well, demonstrating your proficiency in adverse weather situations.
As you proceeded to the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was only 4.5 meters from the centreline, indicating a minor deviation but still within acceptable standards. Overall, your performance during the landing was commendable, with strong attention to detail and precision throughout each phase.
Keep up the excellent work and continue honing your skills to maintain such high landing scores consistently. Your dedication and proficiency as a pilot are truly admirable. Well done!
