MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,330 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 608 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report

The final approach to runway 35 at LPPR Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport was flown from the south on a heading of 349.0 ° at 4 nm and 1,328 ft agl.
Landing on runway 35 was executed with a threshold speed of 137 kt; touchdown occurred 191 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 129 kt and a firm touchdown rate of minus 328 fpm. Alignment on touchdown was perfect. Local weather reported Temperature 24 °C, Wind 3 kt at 278 °, Crosswind 3 kt, Headwind 1 kt. The total landing distance measured 1,437 m (43 % of runway).
Runway rollout alignment was perfect following touchdown.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a taxi-in that lasted 4 minutes and covered 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 173 nm, took 42 minutes, and consumed 1,682 kg of fuel.
The Airbus A320 completed a final approach to runway 35 at LPPR Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport from the south, maintaining a heading of 349.0° at 4 NM and 1,328 ft AGL. Local weather was 24 °C with a wind of 3 kt from 278°, providing a 3 kt cross-wind component and a 1 kt head-wind component. The overall score for the landing was 96.0 %.
At threshold the aircraft displayed a good threshold height and a good threshold speed of 137 kt. The flare was executed with the aircraft positioned correctly for touchdown.
Touchdown occurred 191 m beyond the designated touchdown zone, with a good touchdown speed of 129 kt. The touchdown rate was firm at minus 328 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 1,437 m, representing 43 % of the 3,330 m runway, and runway rollout alignment remained perfect.
Coaching should focus on reducing the touchdown point offset by aiming to touch down nearer the intended 300 m (1,000 ft) aim point within the zone, and on moderating the firm rate to achieve a smoother transition to rollout.
